I'm planning on having Spring in my town have a nice, modern look. In Summer, it's undecided. For Fall/Autumn, making the town look old and worn down. And finally, for Winter, I'm going to remodel it as a land of toys and candy.
So, do you or are you planning on remodeling your town for each season?
I would never have the time and patience to with the schedule I have right now, so probably not. But I would still make maybe minor adjustments so my town looks a bit more fit to the current season. An exception would be cherry blossom season though
I have been lately yeah, but mostly because I'm never happy with the paths that I have. I really like the ones I have now, but they're for spring/summer time so I'll probably end up having to change them out for fall/winter.
Given that I have two towns and am working on general landscaping for both, I probably won't change things out seasonally. But your ideas do sound nice, and one day, I might try something like that.
No I don`t remodel my entire town for the seasons, that would be too much trouble, I only arrange some of my flowers from time to time, so the colours match better for each season.
Yes I have so far, in winter I had a brick path, for spring time I changed it to stepping stones, I have some with grass and some with brown background, so I'll be able to keep them throughout autumn as well. I've kept the wooden planks for all seasons because they look good no matter the time of year.
I like having my town designed to be natural looking. Y'know, natural paths, etc so I don't have a need to remodel my town for the current season. I don't have the time to be doing that anyways, and if I did have the time I probably wouldn't.
It's a cute idea but that's way too much effort for me. If I do change the path, it's only replacing the pattern in the slots and not really redoing the whole layout or anything like that. For spring I have more flowery paths, summer is more wood, fall is an orange leafy path, and winter is a black and white pattern. This takes like 2 minutes to do so if I feel like changing it, I just intergrate it into the routine for that day. Otherwise, many of the patterns I have fit with any season so no real need to change anything.
