When I started, I spent ages resetting for a good map, but once I got to a certain point I got tired of it and just chose one that seemed okay. I really regret it now - the land is broken up strangely so it doesn't seem as spacious as some other maps.

I also wish I'd planned out where I wanted my PWPs to be when I started. I tried to be organised but in the end I just got lazy, and I feel like things are pretty messy. I've only had my town for a few weeks, but I TT'd a lot so it's pretty developed and I can't bring myself to reset, especially since I have a few dreamies. But.... it sucks knowing my town can never be as good as I wanted it to be ;~;

Hmm, I regret accidentally letting Marshal leave and now I have to do the 16 villager cycle, but other than that, nothing much. I've had loads of towns in the past so I know the stuff I want and not.

Location of my Brewster's. I thought a sea view with coffee would be awesome but he's taking up beach front property and I put him so near the cliff that I can't even build a path leading to it. Derp.

The location of both The Roost and the Police Station. They're so close together and in the middle of everything... what was I thinking? :(

i did something similar.... i'm so annoyed because i have a whole folder in my bookmarks of resources for planning your town and all that jazz and i thought i was prepared

i guess i'm not cut out to be a mayor ;~;

I regret where I put my characters houses. When I started my town I wasn't really thinking of the future. The Roost and Police Station, as well. I ended up having to work around everything which was difficult.

I kinda don't like the placement of my town hall it's really far from everything else and I don't like that :(

I regret picking a map with this ridiculous, annoying, INFURIATING amount of rocks. I swear there's like 8 of them, in the most obnoxious places. It'll make pathing & PWP placement a huge pain, I bet. It already took me 30 minutes to properly set the cafe' because of one of these rocks...I wish I could remove them -.-. It's a shame, because the rest of the map is practically perfect, which is what made me decide to keep it...very annoying, though.

I regret not planning things out more...where I wanted villagers to go, pwps, plants, etc.

I also regret naming my character Emily...like who the fricka frack is Emily that's not even my name

Nothing much other than bypassing the censor as that makes posting some things on Miiverse tricky, but meh, I like it.

It fits some of the villagers, though a lot of the time I either get uncreative or just set some inside joke as the catchphrase or whatever.

My house location! I cringe everytime I see it! It's right in front of the town hall in an awkward area. I hate hate hate hate HATE it!

Putting my campsite at the bottom of the map where cedar don't grow. I wanted a campsite by the beach and it took a long time to make it look nice. Adding some stumps/shrubs helped and the villagers love to sit there.

I regret not moving my bridge over 2 more spaces so it will be more symmetric, now Bam moved right under the bridge so its no use at this point since hes a dreamie and its not super noticeable unless you look for that flaw.

For me, I regret placing my fire pit down as the area it was in was really lob-sided and just didn't look right whatsoever, thankfully I've asked Isabelle to tear it down for me, and after the fireworks show I'm going to build a tiki torch, a bench and maybe the water pump. I guess it's all about trial and error to get the perfect pwp in a specific area.

The location of the coffee shop. He's right by the train station so there's very little room for items when I'm trading. Then my sister's house is right beside it and she won't let me demolish her house and remake it somewhere else because she's a brat.

I don't like the location of my plaza actually. I don't go there very often, but for the sake of it being in dreams. It is up in the far corner so when building paths it is very awkward.

Choosing the map where where Re-Tail is as far as it could be from the dock. Oh, and letting a completely original Maple go without selling her >.<
