Do you redecorate your house from time to time? Or is it always the same?

It's been a long time since I last redecorated any of the rooms. I want to redecorate the basement, as I think it's the room I like the least, and also because otherwise seasonal stuff just sits in my storage collecting dust lol. I don't like busting my ass collecting seasonal stuff only to throw it in my storage and forget it ever existed, so I'll probably do some redecorating in the coming days or when I have winter stuff, if I think it'll look better.

I redecorate once per season, usually. Some rooms get completely redone (bathroom, bedroom), while others have colors and accessories swapped out (main, kitchen).

I have two rooms that I won't change, because I love them and they fit my vision for the house - the right side room is a stillroom and the basement is the Hufflepuff common room.

I focused very intensely on decorating my house near the beginning of the game when I was very frequently trading on here but then I haven't really touched it for months, other than a few small touches. with some of the new Turkey Day stuff and just generally having more ideas I am hoping to redecorate it soon! lord knows I have the time now i'm stuck in isolation

My upstairs kitchen only changes here and there when I swap items to refine it. Same with my bathroom [left room]. The remaining four rooms change fairly frequently as I get new ideas.

You know I've been to a lot of dream islands and I see a lot of people not putting any effort in their homes. Their island looks great but their homes not so much. As for me personally I make my home with different color combinations and yeah I do fix it up time to time because I care about it. I feel like decorating your homes has become underrated since all the focus has gone into terraforming your island.

I only redecorate if they release items that match my decor! I never redecorated for any of the holidays but I'm planning on adding a few elements for Christmas. I usually keep it the same all year.

I only redecorate my main's house if new items are released and I want to use them, or if I feel like changing up the appearance/function of a room. The last room I changed was my bathroom, which was a regular bathroom and is now mermaid-themed.

My alt has a couple rooms remaining to be decorated, but I'm holding off on finishing them because that house is currently filled with recipes I'm saving for my friend until she gets the game.

I’ve barely decorated my house or collected furniture. I’ve just been gathering what’s available in my town mostly. I’m bad at decorating so I actually upgraded my house entirely before bothering to decorate it

after a while I decided my house looked awful so I used everything in storage to decorate a little better, and ordered a few more items from the nooks shopping app. It’s much better now, but I haven’t changed it in the few months since I did this lol

I do plan on re-decorating at some point, but who knows when that will be

I’ve only changed the main room fir Halloween and Turkey Day. I’ll probably keep the Turkey Day stuff up as I slowly collect winter items.

Other than that, I’ll sometimes switch out sone if the items on tables to compliment the season we’re in, but my other rooms pretty much stay the same.

My house's living room has been pretty much the same for months. And that's because I like it the way it is, and I'm scared that if I try to change the decoration and the layout, I might not like it and than it will be really hard getting everything like it was before. But I was thinking on redesigning my living room this winter, with all of the new winter furniture.

So, do you also redecorate you house from time to time, or do you stick with one layout the whole year? This is my first animal crossing game, so I'd like to know if this is a thing people do.

The only room that had a major change was my bedroom because it had much to improve on, and that was like 2 months ago.
Otherwise 90% of my house has been untouched for months. The only things I regularly change are the seasonal items I put in my living room for display to match the season.
I am however contemplating transforming my living room now for christmas, but like you, I'm afraid to lose what I've done so far. I've taken clear screenshots of my living room however, so I suppose I can always put furnitures back the way it was before after Christmas, by looking back at the screenshots to make sure I'm not missing anything.
Otherwise, I have an island resident I control as well that I can use his house to decorate for Christmas. I transformed his living room lately to put all the turkey day furnitures. But it probably won't be the same experience, since I use my island representative most of the time unlike my other island resident.

I like to keep some rooms the same (like the side bathroom, bedroom, and dining room) but I am thinking about redoing my main room to match current seasons/holidays.

I also have yet to decorate my upstairs and basement, so I could make those into seasonal rooms as well! But one day when my island is "finished" (and I am done with the game) I will not be redecorating my rooms at all. That won't be until a couple years from now, I imagine.

I decorated all my rooms meticulously over the first couple of months of gameplay because I don’t like leaving things unfinished, but I only ever change a small item here and there at this point, and even that only once a month or so. I have always been far more interested in decorating my town than my house.

I've basically had roughly the same set-up in my house since I finished decorating the first time!! I've added in a few bits and pieces decoration wise or changed the wallpapers up occasionally when I've found ones I like better but tbh I'm pretty happy with my interior atm and other than figure out what is actually going on in my mess of a basement there isn't really much I'd want to change currently so I've been focusing all my attention on my outdoor areas recently

My house is and probably will be a mess for quite some time. I like decorating outside and working with my villagers to give them themed areas to live in. Decorating my home feels lame in comparison.

I currently really like the way my house is decorated, but I do plan on changing some of the rooms during holidays. I'll probably completely change my main room, and maybe put a few holiday decorations around my house (wherever it looks good!)

I keep my house the same. It took me forever to get it to a place that I am completely happy with it. That being said there are alot of wallpapers and floors that I wish I could put out - enter: my second house! It solves my storage needs and gives me additional rooms to lay out my crazy room ideas! I made it for my 1yr old haha. He's got a pretty good looking house! Not complete yet, but it's getting there.
