I sorta Do heh.... Here are my Stuffs

Poncho X Bethany (Mayor)
Savannah X Benjamin (Him and her always give each other stuff, But I have a sort Love triangle thing...
Victoria Likes Benjamin, Benjamin Likes Savannah and Savannah likes Benjamin.. Oh... not really then..)
Coach X Soleil (Idk it just works)

I need to move out a few of the girls in my Town as i only have 3 guys XD

I don't ever put them into romantic relationships, but sometimes I imagine certain villagers being total bffs with other ones

no.. imo that's just weird for a game like this. people always find a way to bring relationships and stuff into an innocent game lol.

Only friend relationships. Unless the game tips me over some totally cute boy/girl relationship as a rumor. Then it is kinda fun.

Yes, I ship a lot of different villager pairings. I don't find it weird or think it corrupts the game's "innocence" somehow, especially when you have characters like Kappa'n or the Smugs openly flirting with you. I just think it makes the game more fun and interesting.

Yeah, I do. I can't help it, I'm a big mushy romantic at heart.
Although personally I don't really think of them as animals -- if I ship them, I ship them as human approximations of the villagers (if that makes sense!).

My favourites at the moment are Katt x Lily, Diana x Fuchsia, and Genji x Marshal.

Bluebear and Fuchsia are BFFS- they talk about each other constantly. They built there houses right next door as well XD
I also think Julian has a huge crush on Fuchsia- his house is on the opposite side of town but I always find him hanging out near hers, he talks about her a LOT. I think 90% of the conversations I've had with him he mentions her.

Rolf and Bianca? But it's kind of more like he's her grumpy uncle or something. Maybe. ;o

if i have pietro move in at some point, pietroxmuffy is totally otp
other than that... just mayorxwoflgang ;w; ehehehe

I ship Rooney with Kitt.
But in my town, they barley talk to each other.
I also ship Lolly with Punchy.
They talked to each other at least once, and they always talk about each other.
Truly wonderful.

I put villagers in pairs but more for "Contrasting" purposes rather than relationships...... for example I think it's nice to have Marshal and Poppy together in a town because they are such cute squirrels with opposite personalities.

My "Pairs" are

Marshal - Poppy
Apollo - Phoebe (When I get Apollo, Eagle and Phoenix... Go High Elves)
Whitney - Fang
Diana - Beau
Stitches - Merengue (Mostly because those are the 2 left over..... hahahaha)

I don't usually, or at least I didn't before my second town. I definitely imagined some as being bffs and whatnot.

But in my second (cycling) town, I have Whitney, a popular wolf, and Biskit, an uncommonly favorited dog, and it really seems that Whitney has a crush on him! She is always asking me about him or bringing him up in conversations, and when she asks for favors delivering things, its always to Biskit. Their houses aren't near each other or anything so I'm not sure why she's so interactive with him but I think it's just really cute.

I mean when they talk about each other a lot, it crosses my mind, but in the end I mostly think about them being best friends more than anything.

peanut and graham talk about each other alllll the time (but lol graham is someone I'm trying to get out of my town soz peanut)

Yes- I'm a shameless shipper, so I end up making ships for most of my villagers, whether they're genuine or not. Some of my examples are:

EveryoneXMaxwell (seriously, no-one ever shuts up about him)
KyleXMuffy (they talk about each other... a lot. I could barely get through a visit from either without one saying they couldn't imagine the other in my house.)
DelixLolly (I witnessed a conversation between the two, and they seemed to get along perfectly.)
VladimirXMallary (neither talks about the other, but I could imagine the two snarkiest villagers pairing off with one another.)
