Do you headcanon any villagers as having certain traits/relationships?

To clarify, do you have any villagers that you attribute relationships/traits to that they don't have in the game?

Ex) Vivian and Wolfgang dating, Quinn having an interest in gardening, etc.

For me, I used to headcanon Dom as being the resident evil/lunatic, but I've warmed up to him quite a bit since then.

Curt and Julia.

Where do I begin?

Back in December 2023, the two of them hung out a lot. They were constantly over at each other’s houses and chatted whenever they were near each other. When Curt was over at Julia’s house, he kissed Julia on the lips.

But one day in late December, everything changed.

Curt and Julia were fishing together, and they decided to strike up a conversation. Curt was asking Julia why people thought he was so scary. Here’s how the conversation went:

Curt: Say, I’ve been hearin’ everywhere that folks think I’m scary. I don’t get it. What’s so scary about me?

Julia: Why Curt, if I didn’t know better, I’d say you seem to care what folks think about you. But that can’t be right, now, can it? Anyhoo, what does it matter if the way you look and the way you talk can be-well-unnerving? We’re still your friends!

Curt: The way I look? The way I talk? What’s so durn unnerving about ‘em?! Cetoddle769 (not my real name btw), now be honest… Do YOU think I’m scary?

Me: You sound pretty scary!

Julia: See, darling? Even ***** (name blurred out for privacy) agrees. Perhaps you should try speaking more…softly.

Curt: More softly? More SOFTLY?! What am I…a down comforter?! A flower PETAL?! A GOLDARN BABY DUCK?!?!

Julia: You’re right, Curt. I haven’t the faintest idea why anyone would think you sound scary.

Curt: Well, I’m glad SOMEONE’S come to their senses.

After that conversation, Julia went to go fish somewhere else. When I asked her if she was ok, she said: “…Huh? A broken heart? No, no, no! I was literally talking about fishing. Though…I see how I confused you. I guess maybe the struggles of love and fishing aren’t so different!”

Things were never the same between Curt and Julia ever again.

I love making up villager headcanons so much! In fact, I have LOTS of them!
Here are some recent ones I made up a while ago:

• Cobb was the one who invented Ribbot, Sprocket, and Cephalobot, and he treats them as if they were his own children.

• Chabwick works at a seafood restaurant.

• Cranston works at a moving company and specializes in helping villagers moving out and in and packing their belongings in boxes.

• Kid Cat, Big Top, Agent S and Rocket are in a motorcycle gang, even though Kid Cat and Big Top got arrested due to crimes of moving on top of fruit trees (true story) and harassing certain innocent villagers (also true story). Agent S and Rocket are still in said motorcycle gang, and Agent S has been the honorary leader since.

• Reneigh is in a street gang, she was the one who spray-painted the graffiti shown on the street art wallpaper.

• Tiansheng is Flip's long-lost brother, they figured out that they're related when they realized how much they look like each other.

• Frett is Benjamin's brother and Goldie's uncle who loves to watch sports on TV and has a lot of sports memorabilia.

Rolf and Olivia are dating and that’s just a fact. She is always at his house!! Also Rolf…where to begin? Mans is friends with EVERYONE and is always having me deliver packages. Him and Tank are besties for sure, they always hangout.

Tammy and Cole are also besties but he is always late to everything because he loses track of time.
