do you prefer playing with the lower or higher camera angle?

If I'm just walking around my island I'll use the lower angle. If I'm fishing or terraforming I'll use the higher angle.

I find I'm using aerial view more and more.

I actually use the higher angle but I don't like the way it looks. It's just more practical for most gameplay for me. I much prefer the look from the regular angle but it's habit for me to change it. If you're swimming though it can be best to use the default angle so you can see bubbles to the north quickly.

I usually use the regular angle, but if I'm doing something specific like looking for things behind cliffs I'll obviously switch to the higher view. and usually when taking pictures I prefer the higher view!

My character is always running around the island so for me having a higher camera is easier so I can see where she is going as I have lots of trees in certain areas and flowers and bushes along paths

Usually I keep it at the default/lower angle, but I do switch it to the upper when I'm doing my morning chores, mainly when going on paths that are behind buildings or through my forest so I can see flowers/weeds that have spawned where they shouldn't or to get branches. Also if I've shaken trees and need to be certain I've picked everything up.

In general, I stick with the normal camera angle because that's the angle your character leaves the house every day with. Sometimes it's easier to fish in certain places or play find-the-buried-treasure with the camera higher, but that's about all I use it for.

I use the normal camera angle for running around and doing small tasks (like digging up flowers) but I switch to higher whenever I’m catching something or terraforming

I honestly pay no attention to it. It's something I just change naturally as I run around. Different parts of my island suit themselves better to one angle or another, and I just change it subconsciously as I move around. I'm pretty sure I use both angles almost equally.

I started using the higher angle so I could see fossil spots easier but I usually keep it high now all the time unless I'm trying to shoot down a balloon

The poll should have a "mix" option! I swap between the two depending where I am on my island, and what I'm doing (like, if I'm decorating or just wandering). I mean, my right thumb is pretty much always on the B button, and I don't even have to move it off of there to tilt the right control stick. I usually do it without thinking if the angle will be better, lol. I didn't even notice I switch it around often until I saw this poll

I find myself using the higher angle more, it’s just easier being able to see more of my surroundings. Not to mention fishing and catching bugs works better for me at a higher angle. But when I wanna take in the scenery or I’m just hanging out with my villagers I go for the regular angle, it makes for a better picture too!

I switch between the two often, but I think in general I do about 60% higher angle, and 40% default view.

I switch a lot. Maybe I'm biased towards the low angle but the high angle is useful too.

i mostly use the regular angle but for anything related to terraforming, collecting fossils and fishing, i use the higher angle. for catching insects i usually use the lower angle
