Do you prefer "normals" or "sweeties"?

So I see most people call the polite girl villagers normal villagers, but I've also heard of the occasional person calling them sweeties. I've almost always called them normal villagers, but the idea of calling them sweeties sort of grows on me! Not only is it cuter sounding, but "normal" kind of makes them sound like they have no personalities, when really, they are extra polite and kind and very sweet.

What do you think?

I call them my babies to be honest haha.
I think they are all cuties so I've always done that.
I agree with how normal makes them come off as bland, but personally there's many normal villagers that have my favorite design and such.

Oh, yeah, I wasn't actually saying the villagers themselves were bland, just that the name made them seem so!! TBH normal villagers are my favourite design wise most of the time too. (I mean, I have three normal villagers in Lunavila, haha!!)

I'm not sure if i like "sweeties" but i agree that "normal" makes them sound boring and bland, a different name for them probably would have been better, but oh well.

Did Nintendo actually ever officially call the villager personalities anything? I think that the villager personality names are actually more like fan nicknames than official names. Maybe I'm wrong though?

I don't think any major part of the fanbase would've come up with "uchi" and made it stick, and these terms show up in old Nintendo published guides I own

Same... I mostly like to have a variety of villagers so I have more varied dialogue, but it's really hard to resist getting normal villagers, most of them have really fantastic designs. Like, there are villagers that I like from every personality, but normal villagers are definitely the most solidly cute ones. Although I very much like the uchi and snooty villagers designs too.

haha- i'd say perhaps the crankies and the snooties are "normal!"

I have never heard them being called sweeties but it suits them more. I'm used to calling them normals since that's what they are actually called but I agree, it sounds really boring and mean. :C

Tbh I've never heard the term "sweeties". It's always been the normals for me.

I've never heard of someone call the normals sweeties actually. I think I'm going to start calling them sweeties because it sounds much more cuter than "normals".
