Do you prefer being at 9 or 10 villagers?

Right now, I'd rather be at 9 or less so I have room to try and get Filbert. Once I get Filbert I won't care how many people are in my town so long as Filbert doesn't leave.

I prefer being at 10, for the peace of mind of not having to worry about random move-ins and not having to load with a new character in case I need to the reset trick.
I've actually been pretty lucky with random move-ins -- I haven't had any disastrous ones, and even if I did, I'd never blame the WiFier I picked them up from, of course! But it's still something I worry about when I'm at 9 villagers.

Also, I don't have the campsite, so it's not like I have to worry about the heartbreak at seeing a dreamie in the campsite when I'm at 10 villagers.

I absolutely have to be at 10 villagers in my main town to avoid accidental move-ins. o: But I get super antsy if I have 10 in my TTing town because that means I won't have room to take anyone I really want from my campsite.

I prefer being at 10... I've had too many random move-ins from people on Wi-Fi to feel safe having 9. >.<;;;

Nine! I don't usually run into the problem with street passing or wifi villagers moving in. I always hope for the best with my campers and nine is just a comfortable number. When I have ten, I'm always waiting for someone, anyone to ping me. I also like getting down to eight, the anticipation of a random move in is always fun for me c:

I would like to be at 9, but I'm always at 10 because I usually get a slow turnover... I refuse most of my villagers to move. So I did this morning by refusing Roald to move out.

I used to like having 9 so I could take in whoever I wanted and not miss out on any campers, but when I got someone's void for the first time, it just screwed everything up and I lost a dreamie because I wanted to cycle that voided villager out so fast. >__> Now I'm desperate for a 10th villager. owo;;

10 because for the first few weeks, I just had 9 and it didn't feel right until I found out there's supposed to be 10. After my 10th one moved in, it felt good.

I don't really mind but prefer 9, just in case I really like whoever is camping. I don't have any dream villagers and like random move ins but I will be picky and choosy about inviting campers, but like to have a slot open just in case.
I only have 2 slots left that are available in my town where someone can possibly build their houses so I am ok with that. I find that when someone moves the next new one will move into their old spot or one of the 2 spots left in my town because I placed cheaper PWPs strategically ie; flower beds.

I prefer having 10 right now. I don't want any new villagers as I have to cycle out 16 to get Bruce back, but right now I'm happy with who I have and I don't want any unexpected move ins.
