Is your town set to the actual time and date or is your town in a completely different season? I quite like the idea of starting a town during a different season but not time travelling but then I'd feel like I'm missing out when everyone else is celebrating an event and I'm 6 months away from it.
I play in real time, of course, personally to me there is no other way of playing the game, I played Wild World in real time, I play LGTTC in real time and I play NL in real time.
It depends. I have several copies of the game, on my main I play on the right time - for the others not necessarly but I don't really like to be in a too different one. (like playing during summer but in winter AC makes me grumpy I don't know why!)
I usually just move the hour, because I play during the night and I can't do all the things I want if the stores are closed and the villagers sleeping.
My game is about 3 or 4 days behind at the moment, as I have 9 villagers and I'm trying to prevent a random move-in, other than for reasons like that, I play pretty much in real time.
right now it's halloween in my town bc i've been trying to move out villagers so im set back a bit i used to be like two months set back but once i get all my dreamies im definitely not tting
i like playing in real time bc i get to do all the holidays and stuff on the actual day idk it just makes it special lol
When I first got the name I played in real time for months, but iive reset my town a couple times since then and in my current one I time travel so that I have more to do. I try to keep my game in the right season though so that I still have the same holidays
I played in real time 100% untill this new update as I wanted to go back and try out stuff I never experienced since I always seem to burn out by the end of summer. So I'm currently riding a no brakes train to catch back up.
I prefer being in real time with almost everyone else so I can share the experience of events lol I also prefer seeing the actual time and date on the little pop up!!
I recently TT'ed back to the end of April to catch the last few bugs and sea creatures I'm missing, so currently, my time is completely off (I'm now at the end of May). I rarely do, though, since for a long time I play ACNL during my morning commute, so I had to TT a few hours ahead to be able to do anything.
