Do you or will you ever hunt for for avaragely popular or unpopular villagers?

I invite villagers that I love regardless if they’re popular or not.

All of my favorites are unpopular. I got lucky early in the game and found Bubbles on an island. She’s my favorite peppy.

camofrog was/is one of my dreamies lol. i'm not really fussed about which villagers are popular or whatever those "tier lists" are (seriously it sounds like a fighting game thing???). for me it's about which characters i'm attached to for sentimental reasons, like camofrog was my bestie in new leaf and so were frita and pekoe. other villagers i just picked because i thought they looked cute/cool in their own lil way (like raddle, doc, cyrano)

I did invite a mouse (Bree) when my only requirement was a personality I didn't have yet. Now I invite everyone who unlocks a poster I don't have yet.

For dreamies, most of mine aren't very popular, but Sterling is the only one I need to hunt for.

I have 8 permanent villagers with 2 villagers rotating. When one moves out, I go and island hop for whatever villager that's decent. I'll usually spend a stack of tickets and come back with someone cool. I don't really care if they're popular or not, though I like a lot of the popular ones.

Whenever I get space on my island I often have a small list of villagers I'd like to try, and they usually aren't that popular. Makes searching for them really easy because people are giving them away everywhere, I just look at some trading channels and it never takes long for one of the villagers on the list to show up

I tried villager hunting for Bea to no avail, but I'm glad I stumbled upon some of my permanents like Nan and Boris along the way! They're not popular from what I recall, but I do super love them all and will be permanently residing in my island. I ended up adopting Bea from someone else, but I couldn't be happier now that I have her!

Sure, I will hunt them if I like them. Ellie and Margie, for example. They're adorable and very underrated. I'd probably consider them if ever I make a second island.

I can't hunt for them as most of my villagers don't want to move out, but if I could, I probably would.
I did find Lolly the other day after I went around some islands and had her replace Dom, which was nice.

I have amiibos for many of my favorite villagers, and most of them are unpopular. That said, it always tickles me to run into them while island hopping.

Yeah! I haven't been able to find any of my unpopular dreamies, but I definitely go looking. Weirdly, I've had more luck looking for popular villagers than unpopular ones. I've found Marina, Fauna, and Audie on NMT islands, but still no Jeremiah, Moe, Freckles, or Pate.

Nope! Usually, with less popular characters, you can get them for free from other people. Which is great imo if you like less popular charcters

I found Candi the mouse on an island when I first got the game and invited her She still lives on my island today!

One day I hope to find Ellie, Hopper, Shep, or Tipper! They may not be the most popular, but I think they're adorable!

i believe my most unpopular dreamie is margie - despite being in the animal crossing movie, i don’t see much love for her or see many people who have her. when i saw her in the direct back in february, my mind instantly went “” and i knew that i had to have her - now that i do, she’s one of my favourite villagers

I actively hunted for Judy and Dom but other than those two I usually just only use 20 nmt or below and stick to whoever I find the most interesting/appealing to me.

Many times I have and will. In the past it's been for: Puddles, Boots, Megan, Agnes, cube, Hopper. I would also like to find Del at some stage and some other unpopular ones as well.

I have a list of villagers who I love, with some less-popular ones such as Angus and Butch on there. There's popular ones too, like Marshal or Julian, and a few I haven't seen too much love for- like Molly or June or Reneigh, the last of that list added in New Horizons.
Dreamies I have are Kabuki, Flurry, Rodeo and Ankha. I know Ankha is popular, but I'm not sure how loved the others are. Kabuki is amazing imo, and I was super excited to have gotten his Amiibo Card when they were still being sold in blind packs at Game Stop.

i never really island hunted much (last time i did i only used about 15 tickets and found audie ) but i have rocket who is super unpopular and i love her so much. she’s never leaving. she’s my sister
