Do you mix your island theme?

i definitely mix it. i don’t think i have a particular theme but rather have a bunch of different themes thrown together since my array of carnival, celestial campgrounds, gnome forest, vapourwave backyard and snapping turtle playpen don’t really fall under the same theme lol

My whole island is a mix of themes and kinda all over the place. If there was more nook mile items to choose from then I would redecorate certain parts to look more like farmland.

As for me I don't really pick themes. I just start out designing and the go from there and see what happens usually. I'm probably gonna go for cottagecore/fairycore/hippiecore idk tho

My island mostly looks like a town, but cutesy themed I guess? I'm not talented enough to make a natural foresty looking island lmao whenever I try to it just looks like a bunch of random stuff placed everywhere. I like the aesthetic of everything being neat and organized. I try to incorporate all the default paths/fencing and furniture series so different areas are themed differently.
