Do you miss Pitfalls & Gyroids?

Honest question. I felt like they added a bit of depth to the game. Same with gyroids even though I didn’t care about them

I know pitfalls exist it just feels weird not havig them be the daily burials

Pitfalls are a DIY.
And gyroids seem to be returning, at least it have been datamined.

Pitfalls do exist, you just need to get a recipe for them to make them. It was fun back in the old days though when you'd check the bulletin board and see a villager buried a treasure somewhere, only to stumble into a pitfall that was buried behind a tree while you were searching

When I played AC for Gamecube, gyroids were my favorite part. I don't know if they would be again nearly 20 years later, but I do think the game would be better off with them than without them.

Pitfalls do exist, but I’m surprised they did not do a daily one anymore. I wish gyroids were back as well, just like the previous games.

You can craft pitfalls after you learn the DIY, i tried pushing CJ into one the other day, but i think he might be immune because that didnt work out, i ended up falling into it myself.

I dont miss gyroids at all! I never used them in new leaf and i am never gonna.

I miss gyroids so much! It’s like I forgot how to decorate my houses without gyroids. I used to use them all the time in new leaf.

assuming OP knew pitfalls were DIY, i'm taking the question as "do you miss randomly planted pitfalls" in which case i'm going to say yes? on one hand it's one more thing for me to throw out, on the other hand since it's craftable it would make me feel like my villagers are pranking me/each other and that is cute

gyroids yes i miss. some of them made fun noises. i would like to put gyroids in charge of the various stations in my town.

I never liked gyroids so I am glad they are gone. I hated having to dig for them every time it rained

Meh, I never cared for gyroids. Unless there's a dedicated spot to store them to show off the complete collection I have no use for them.

I never really used pitfall seeds for anything other than to sell them, but I do kinda miss the gyroids though.

not really. i kind of miss the gyroids, especially when my instinct is is to look for them after it rains but i’ve never really cared about either of them lol

Not really ;-; Pitfalls were kind of annoying to just randomly stumble upon, but I like that we can craft them if we want to have fun with them :> Gyroids I'm indifferent to. It was a little annoying digging them up when I was just looking for fossils, but they could really spruce up a room c: With the fact that it'll count t towards your shovel breaking and clutter up our storage further, they seem like they would be a little annoying

If gyroids make a return, they may actually be worth keeping now that you can put things outside. It always seemed weird trying to fit them in a house when they feel like outdoor furniture. I'd scatter them throughout my island if they return.

I personally think gyroids will return when Brewster does since it has always been mentioned in game that he is a big collector of gyroids.

I'm indifferent about daily pitfalls being gone (I usually buried mine behind a building I knew I'd never run behind and forgot about it).

I miss gyroids a lot though! It's one of my favorite parts of the game since it was cool to see what sounds they make and which ones your villagers had in their homes. I love collecting them and I hope them (and Brewster) return in the same update so Brewster can store them for us again!

I hated pitfalls, so I actually placed the one that spawned in the corner of my map in NL so I wouldn’t fall in it (and it prevented any more from spawning)

Gyroids are fun little Thing I enjoyed, and it’s weird not to see them the day after a rainfall

and even though gyroids kinda annoyed me trying to find fossils after it rained, it'd still be nice to see them come back since they are a staple of the series. I also just like collecting stuff.
