I have cosmos and I like them (also kinda poetic that an island named after space has a native flower named after space). I was alright with them initially, then I saw the black cosmos model (I hope black cosmos breed more black cosmoses quicker than the orange ones) and I love love love them. Can't wait to have enough to decorate with!
My only wish would be to bring back the blue cosmos from the GCN version. I really liked that shade of blue, and it would spice up the limited hybrid pool a little.
I got roses, and while it’s nice that I got to breeze through to black roses, I wish they’d been my sister flower (mine are pansies, which I don’t care for) and I’d gotten a new flower as my native one. It doesn’t help that my New Leaf town had this massive field of yellow roses and I’m a little sick of them now, haha. The colder toned roses are really pretty in this game, though, and maybe once I’ve cleared up my windflower hybrid operation, I’ll try for something fancier than pink/orange/black roses.
Cosmo`s are my native flowers and I do really like them, not as much as tulips though. They are on par with the roses. Mostly because I like how the hybrid pink, black and orange cosmos look. I mean, why do orange hyacinths look so horrible? The blue ones look dope.
Mine are mums and I really didn’t like them at first until I saw the pink and purple hybrids. I love those and now I have huge patches of them on my island. I’ve also warmed up to most of the other colors as well (except green...I just don’t like that shade but I’m breeding them anyway because I need them for a recipe)
I have windflowers, and they’re fine enough, though I’m getting a little tired of seeing so many of them on my island lol. The hybrid colors are pretty, but the primary ones are a little meh. In a perfect world, I’d have hyacinths or roses as my native flower.
