I'm the type that likes to pay off a little bit at a time and decorate as you go. I still don't have my house paid off and I've been playing for a little over a year. But I know lots of people like to just pay off their houses as fast as they can and then decorate. What about you guys?

Well... I started playing the game when it first came out and I gradually got money. So I guess a little at a time?

i usually pay it off when i'm not feeling lazy lmao. sometimes i pay it off right away or just don't do it for like a week or 2 so i guess i'm in the middle

A little at a time. I just don't know what to do with my house right now so I haven't upgraded it beyond just a first and second floor. I have enough money for everything.

I paid the entire thing off in two hours. I sold a villager to someone, then paid it, TT'd, paid it again. Did that until it was all done.

A little at a time, just cause I'm bad at making money and it takes me forever.

I like paying it off all at once, that way I can focus on just collecting sets.

I paid it off as fast a possible. I did it with a lot of beetles and turnips. Cause I did so much online play and cataloging, that I wanted to fill up my house with sets and all.

I started on release day. Once the island was opened I made enough to pay the house loan for the day and bank 300 to 500K.
My town was on bell bloom at the beginning and I made 2 or more trips to the island. So sometimes I would have another loan payment ready for the next day.

I don't like having a huge house and rarely get upgrades. If it's at a size I'm comfortable with, I usually never pay off the debt, but when I need to, I pay it off all at once. It just feels quicker, because I know how much I need to have and once I pay it, it's over with.

I paid it off as I went. If you mean upgrade by upgrade, then all at once.

Little by little on my first, main mayor. When I first started and didn't know about online forums, I didn't have much bells and I thought I'd never be able to expand all the way til end xD (I read it cost like 6.5 mil or so). Back then I thought 6 million bells would be impossible to make lol... Haha silly me =p

Now I have a second character and I pay off his house loans whenever I feel like doing house decorating or I remember to stop by nooks home lol

I try for all at once. I actually didn't pay off the first loan until I had collected all 10k for it, so it sort of just became a habit.

I voted "pay all at once," but I probably do a little bit of both, honestly. I usually like to pay however much an upgrade costs all at once, unless it was a really costly one, then I sometimes split it into two or three payments. For me, I think this is because I like to have all space available before I decide exactly what I want to do with a room/floor.

All at once, so I can be stress free from being in debt by Tom Nook the Crook. Usually I earn tons of bells by going to the island, lazy villagers at campsites, re-tail, and turnips.
