Do you like spiders?

No. Spider webs sometimes look cool. I'm not much of a bug fan, but I've been trying to learn about them a little more. Learning about some of their roles outside helps appreciate them.. some.

Ah, it's a natural thing really. Arachnophobia is a common fear and I bet there are some people in these forums who fear spiders like I do. I cannot stand those eight-legged beasts. T_T
I'm definitely with Suguri on this one. I hate them so much I can't even say the word. I call them 'Eight legged freaks'. I know some will disagree with this, but if I see one on the wall I get the vacuum cleaner out, attach the crevice tool and suck them into the tank. They are unwelcome visitors and evicted as soon as I see one.

I freaking hate insects but grew an interest in arthropods when I was in middle school, mainly because of Animal Crossing. Now I'd say I... don't mind them as long as their outside catching other unwanted bugs? I just can't stand. Their freaking. Webs! It gets bad in warmer seasons to the point where I get caught in them just from stepping outside.

To be honest I've always been interested in seeing a tarantula. No webs from these creatures but it must be a jumpscare seeing them leap heh

I'm scared of most bugs except for butterflies, ladybugs, and caterpillars, so no. I think spiders can be cool and I enjoy seeing the ones people keep as pets (especially tarantulas), and I appreciate the purposes they serve, I just need them to serve their purposes away from me and my house.

Spiders thankfully aren't a problem in my house, but I've gotten into the habit of capturing them in a cup and letting them go outside instead of killing them when they do come in. And by "I", I mean I ask my mom to do it so I don't have to go near them LOL

referring to one of the best Bruce Hornsby songs, "Eight-Legged-Freak Fingers" 🤣🤣

I personally like spiders! they're pretty cool! sometimes I'll see cellar spiders just vibing in the corners of my room/bathroom, and I leave them be 😌 I especially love jumping spiders, I think they're adorable! I'd love to keep one as a pet, but they're usually so tiny and I'd be worried about losing track of it.
I'd also love to hold a tarantula one day (given that it's docile and won't poke me with its tiny hairs oops). I really want to get over my innate fear of large bugs in general because I think they're super rad 😊🕷🦋🦗🪲💗

I love spiders! I think they're really cool. I prefer them and any bugs to not be in my house but it happens. I usually pick them up with a Tupperware and put them outside. Some spiders are really beautiful and like others have said, jumping spiders are adorable! 🕷️🕸️🖤

A common sight around here is the European garden spider, females have these really pretty intricate designs on their abdomens that I love.

Absolutely not. They're so creepy to me. They're cool in the sense of their web spinning and what not but I dunno what it is about them, they just make me shiver.

That said, I do like jumping spiders and daddy long legs. Those kind usually just chill out and stay away from you. Other spiders get all up in your business and hangout with you. Like staaaap ;w; I've had spiders lose their footing while on the ceilings and fall so I get extra freaked when they run overtop of you. But the biggest scare is when they disappear without a trace!

Dock spiders are a whole other beast. They're huge, hairy, and can swim/dive underwater!

I love spiders! I consider them one of my favorite animals. I'm happy to have them around the house and enjoy watching them build their webs. I only move them if they're in an inconvenient spot or somewhere that I think they're likely to get hurt by accident. I used to play with spiders as a child, letting them walk all over my hands and arms, so I have no problem picking them up as long as they aren't dangerous.

The only spider I've ever avoided was a black widow I found once when I picked up an old plumbing pipe cover in our yard. I was surprised to see it, but I didn't feel any panic. It didn't try to move towards me, so I just set the cover back down in a face up position this time and when I checked a few hours later it was gone. I thought it was pretty cool to see one close up like that in real life. They're really beautiful! 🕷️🖤

I had a traumatic experience with spiders... Like almost in the movie Arachnophobia, although it was dozens of different kinds of spiders. All over my hands, arms, dropping on my head. I am not making this up by the way. It's what I got for volunteering to help an elderly woman bring in firewood from her shed. Charity in exchange for a lifelong fear. Worth it though.

I call them 'Eight legged freaks'.

Also the name of a fun Spider B-Movie! If you like that thing haha
