Right now where I live it's raining and there's been lots of lightning. I love it. I think it's great to fall asleep to, and there's something about the lightning I really love. I love being inside more though when it's raining, it's so calming. Being outside, depending on the amount of rain, can either be awesome or really suck.

I love rain so much. Thunder and Lightning are great too. I just love the calmness it sets :3

Rain = win.

Except last night I was having a party with myself (I usually do that every Saturday night) Didn't get to sleep until 2 or 3 in the morning.

I woke up at like 9:30 because it was raining so hard.
I then couldn't get back to sleep.
I then remembered I had to vacuum the house
I then remembered I had to mow the lawn
I then remembered I had to burn a door (lol I actually do) which is happening right now.

I'm pretty tired and bored now. It looks like it might rain, but I don't think it will until tonight.

But I love rain, when I'm walking home in the rain, I always notice things that I have never noticed before, and it's only when it's raining, also we look forward to rain in the desert :)

I used to have a really ridiculous fear of rain/storms of any kind. As a matter of fact, I kept those fears until I was like 16 or 17. Long story short, my family was at an iHOP once, and I was all depressed about this really bad relationship I was in, and I started to feel sick. Like, mentally sick I guess, not so much stomachache type of sickness. I wanted to get fresh air, but it was storming outside, so the only way for me to do that was to brave the storm. Once I sat there, out on the iHOP curbside, in the (pretty bad) storm we were having, I got over my fear and realized that they're actually quite beautiful. Nowadays I try to be out in storms as often as I can.

And there's a little history for ya'.

I love the rain. I can deal with lightnings and thunder if they aren't too close. I panic when they get too close and everything starts shaking. Ugh...

YES. Rain, storms and generally unsettled weather are my favourite type. I am fortunate enough to have a log burning fire in my house, and I love to sit there by it and look outside the window at the raging wind and lashing rain coming out of the dark sky.

I agree, when your watching the rain from inside just hitting its quite tranquilising and I love it even more at night, the thunder and lightning don't bother me much, I quite like them too

I absolutely love rain, thunder, and lightning. As long as the thunder is at a reasonable volume when I'm trying to sleep. Other than that, I love sitting on the patio and watching the storms (:
Right now, we're pretty much dying for rain :/ we haven't had rain in forever and all the places around me aren't allowed to water any plants cause of this drought :l
Someone send us some rain! It's too hot and we need it.

aww no, it's supposed to thunderstorm soon where i live ):
i hate thunder, it's so bad here that not only does it shake the house, but it you can see it when your eyes are closed, i won't sleep tonight......

Yes, I do like Lightning.

I love rainy days. Thunder I can deal with, and sometimes lightning. But when it gets too extreme, I start having panic attacks. :S

Ugh, the storms were so bad yesterday that a tree fell and crushed our pool. >_>

Also, at the concert that I was working inflatables at, a few of our inflatables blew away in the wind (luckily we had managed to get the kids off moments before) and the headliner got cancelled. :/

I love rain when it has a thunderstorm with it. Rain is just boring without it. I especially love thunderstorms at night!

I just heard thunder... O.o
This thread has saved the day!
Just kidding.

Love it. The only problem is, when I wake up, I think 'Who in gods name is taking a shower at 3:00 in the morning?"

I think storms like that are real cool. As long as it doesn't take out the power. Like in 2007, I was without power for a week. We almost didn't have Christmas because of it.
