You actually learned about where certain cities in the world were in Geography? Damn... All I ever seemed to learn about it in my 5 years of studying it at school were volcanoes, rivers, and population problems. :\

Canberra, like Washington D.C. it was built purposely as the capitol so other cities weren't seen as favored. There's even an Animal Crossing villager named after it.
