So, I've been thinking, I Possibly can't be the only one who gives nicknames to various characters, villagers or otherwise. Do you have nicknames for the variety of NPCs, aside from their usual names?

I mean, I myself have a few obvious ones. Of course, Lolly has a nickname, where i tend to call her "Mi petit bonbon". Punchy is "Punchypunch", Ankha is "Cleocatra", I tend to call Yuka "Lady Yuka" because of how commadning her presence is. Rory is "Brory", because he's always been like a bro to me. Marshal is sometimes called "Anime marshmallow squirrel" by me, because of the face, his coloration, and the fact that smugs seem to like anime music, so I can't help but view him as some sort of an otaku. I tend to call Isabelle "Izzy", too.

Only for Marshal really, I always call him Marshie (for obvious reasons) ;) and Julian is sometimes me Julie...because you know, Ali G ;)

I normally tend to make them dumb sounding or just a short version of their name like Julian is Jule or Juli and Diana like her highness lol

I do the same with Julian! Julie is his Japanese name after all :)

I also call Diana either "Lady Di" or "Her Highness" and Fauna usually goes for "Bambi". Have to think good names for the rest ^^

Poppy is the only one I've nicknamed and I call her Pops lol. She always shows me the first letter I sent her and it says "Hi Pops".

I've never really noticed I've been doing this until now haha
Fauna is sometimes known as Faunie. I don't know where that came from.
Occasionally I just call Ankha "ankh", like the symbol of life in Egypt.
I think that's it, I'm not too keen on nicknaming villagers or NPCs.
