• Guest, have you picked up a fortunate cookie from the shop? You must have the "Fortune Cookie (2026)" item in your inventory to receive a collectible from The Luck of the Dragon raffle. Time is running out and the raffle results will be randomized soon!

do you have any "weird" fears?

I'm not sure it's a "weird" fear, but it's VERY specific. I've been so afraid, ever since I was little, about my loved ones suddenly dying randomly, like in one of those "coincidental" events. I have nightmares about it, especially if a person near me gets hurt or has a health scare or something. For example, recently my significant other slipped and fell. Immediately that night, I had a horrible and very realistic nightmare about him dying suddenly.
I'm also sure this isn't rare or anything - but I don't know if people regularly dream about it lol

Looking out of windows or into mirrors during nighttime freaks me out, and I'm pretty afraid of driving at night as well because I always start thinking that someone could be hiding in the back of my car waiting to kill me for some reason.

I also get really uncomfortable whenever technology freezes or starts glitching. I don't know why. I think aside from feeling worried that I may have broken whatever it is I'm using, I always feel like something creepy might pop up on the screen.

Tigers, death & losing people I love.

Tigers have weird looking eyes. It feels like they're staring into your soul and it's unsettling. Death is a common one, I fear what comes after death as well as being dead, since there's nothing. I'd like to find a way to live forever before I die, even though that's selfish of me And losing people, I hate being abandoned.

Well lets see, I've got pretty common fears. Arachnophobia (arachnids), trypanophobia (needles), acrophobia (heights), claustrophobia (enclosed spaces)...

But like my weirdest fear must have to be that I'm terrified of wind. Like, strong wind. It gets me super paranoid about tornadoes so like whenever it's really windy out I get super panicky.

I think I'm also developing agoraphobia (the fear of holes??)

I used to have a fear of choking on anything I ate so I stopped eating for a while . bad times.

also i second the butterfly fear

I used to have a fear of those silly haunted house rides even as I grew older, but now they're alright. as long as I keep my eyes closed

Im terrified of museum mannequins. Store mannequins I don't but I try not to get too close to them, but whenever I go to a museum (which is a lot cause I love museums) and they have a mannequin I just start panicking and freaking out. I feel like they are going to move or something and ugh. It was a fear that my mum brought onwhen I was about four when she told me at a museum that the mannequin was going to turn around and scare me. Idk why that scared me so much but that fear has stuck with me for my entire life.

I have an irrational fear of pool drains. Absolutely no idea why.

i had the same thing for years !! i havent been to a pool in a long time so idk how i feel about them now but i dont think it is as bad as it used to be. i remember when i went to swimming practice and i would start crying if i had to be close to any of the drains ...

I have this weird fear for pigs and swines. I can't look at them without getting grossed out.
I think they look and sound horrible, and dont get me even started on their noses...

If youve ever seen the 'real' version of the animal farm, you might understand this fear :p

Not really weird because I think it's pretty rational but my biggest fear is vomiting in a public place; especially one where there is nowhere 'convenient' to do it (like a sink or a bin or something). I don't even know where it came from, I'm not particularly scared of puking in general, or of other people doing it. I just get super panicky and anxious if I feel even a little sickly, like something in my head tells me I'm going to throw up any minute and I start freaking out.

Being picked up or carried. Like if you even make a move to go and pick me up I start hyperventilating and crying.

A car starting by itself, opening the garage, and leaving the house. I know it's pretty much impossible but it still freaks me out.

mushrooms freak me tf out. also have recurring nightmares of someone driving off a bridge while i'm in the backseat and then i drown. so big bridges over water upset me.

I used to have a completely rediculous fear of Hair. All hair, I guess I just thought it was weird or something, but I grew out of it eventually.
