I have the same goal every year: to finish a game that I’ve started.

I’m terrible at dipping in and out of games and my backlog keeps on growing. This year I want to focus on slower gaming, making sure I am giving one game my full attention before moving onto a new one.

Nothing serious I won't lie. I haven't been gaming all that much recently at all, but I do hope to complete Ocarina of Time again this year. I want to take my time playing it so that I get all the achievements, and I want to actually obtain all the gold skulltula tokens (never done it before lol, too lazy). I also don't want to play it so slow that I don't get anything of the main gameplay completed, but I guess it doesn't matter that much since I've already finished the game a handful of times

I started a new play through of cyberpunk 2077 this January and my goal is to not fail all the missions like last time. I was terrible at driving and sneaking around without getting caught which is almost the whole point of the game

THIS! This this this!! I have the same problem...so, I'm making a determined effort to focus on only a couple to a few games at a time. Also, I'm gonna try like hell to not buy any new ones until I've completed a decent amount of them. The exception is any new Metroid games, though...I simply MUST have those lol!

I think I have the same or similar as you since I always get distracted and move on to a different game 😅.

I just recently completed Fantasy Life’s story but I don’t count that since the story is so short (still, that’s a good start since I haven’t finished any in over a year I think). Plus there still is post-story content. In that regards, my goal is to fully decorate my island, collect all the recipes, mounts and have different costumes for all my lives.

I’d like to finish Pokemon Sword too but right now I’m so focused on Fantasy Life and busy a bit with my hotel in ACNH; probably best not to commit to this.

I’d like to go back to my second island and continue working on my island and island journal, but I also don’t think I can commit to that right now since I’m so hyperfixated on Fantasy life right now lol.

I have so much on my backlog I’d like to complete but that can wait. Right now I’m just trying to have fun since I haven’t been feeling that good for some time.

Beating at least one Ace combat game. I've been intrigued and mesmerized by the series for a long time and currently am playing AC4, though I suck very hard (Even on Very Easy!) at it so it's definetely gonna take a good while.

Would be nice to reach 100 perfect games on Steam, but that would be 37 games and I dunno if I feel like that every other week.

Other than that I'm just looking forward to new releases.

I'd like to chip at some of my backlog this year and maybe revisit some game series I loved as a kid: Monster Hunter especially. I got all of the games outside of Stories 3, which I might get when I can play through the other games and if I end up likin' em.

My main goal is 25 games by the end of the year and to get through a decent chunk of my backlog rather than buying new games. At the moment I'm at 14 PS4/PS5 games, 24 Switch games, and 53 PC games that I plan on getting to. Despite reading a lot, I've already managed to finish 10 games this year as of writing this.

-Beating TOTK finally (I’m SO BAD at finishing games! I got it day one but still am only like halfway done!)

-Actually finishing a SMM2 super world

-Fully decorating my island

-Doing a full playthrough of Terraria when the update releases this Tuesday

Probably limit my spending on games and play the games that I already own.

I bought a LOT of games last year, and barely touched any of them, which I'm not particularly happy about. Already working on some games I've received on my birthday, and been having a blast.

100% Samurai Warriors 4-II (for the fourth year running, third time wasn't the charm).

Finish the main campaign in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, Final Fantasy XVI, and Harvestella.

Try not to lose too much of my free time to Pokémon Pokotopia when it launches. 😂

My main goal is to expand the kinds of games I play. I'm thinking Elden Ring is the most ambitious new kind of game for me. But I also want to get into Stardew Valley. My plan also is to replay some games I haven't revisited in a while, like TOTK, Cuphead, and some older Pokemon DS games. Maybe a niche one, but I've been thinking about Fossil Fighters too.

Honestly? I have so much games that I haven't finished. I have a bad habit of picking a game up and playing it for a bit and then never picking it up again OTL I guess for me my main goal is to play through Sumeru and Fontaine in Genshin Impact, and playing through Amphoreus in HSR. And hoping by the end of this near year, I'd finish the main game of Legends Z-A + DLC (maybe?). Right now i'm like... half way through the Main Story in Z-A so it is doable.
