Do YOU have an ego??

I definitely do it in real life, not so sure about AC:NL. I think "that town is rubbish" a lot but I don't think "my town is way better than that one."

Not really. In fact, I think my town is lacking very much, as far as developments go. I go to other people's towns and the thing is, I don't like how most people design their towns, because it's just too much for me. However, as far as the majority goes, I know what people find most attractive in new leaf. My town isn't like the majority, so my town wouldn't be considered as well done I guess? I love my town though. I shaped it to my liking, and no one else's. The only time I ever ask for an opinion on something like a pwp is when I can't decide between like two spots to place something in. My villagers are also to my own taste. Although half of my village is in the higher tiers, I just skimmed a picture of all the villagers and chose whoever I found most attractive to me. If they happen to be in a high tier, then I can say "That's cool. They're valuable/popular", but if I don't like a villager I won't take them in, because of their popularity or value. I can actually say that I hate some of the most popular villagers. I find them very ugly >>

More like the opposite. When I see what other people do with their towns, I think mine is an utter piece of crap, lmao. Though I don't think I'd be able to spend that much time landscaping. I tend to compare my town with others' as regards the position of things rather than how many paths they have, the designs they use, the PWP's they build and whatnot.

Not really about my town, I do think it about my villagers sometimes ;) but again that's just personal opinion. I like my town but there's lots of people who have done far better than I have. And I'm sure they're thinking that when they come over ;)

I always think my town isn't good enough. I'm constantly working on my town, or getting frustrated and starting over with a new town, because I know my town will never be good enough.

I do tend to think I have the best villagers though. Some people's dreamies are my least favorite villagers, or ones that I think are super ugly, so I always boast about who I have in town. I know someone who's dreamies are Sly and Katt. Who would choose those over the beautiful bunny twins, Francine and Chrissy?

Sometimes, yeah, but mainly because I've been playing way longer than most people and I've been doing everything on my own without any help because I just started using wifi last week. In a lot of ways I feel behind though because, like I said, I'm way behind on the wifi thing. No DLCs or trading and blah blah blah.

I don't think so, usually in animal crossing it's more of the case when I visit other people's towns I wonder why theirs feels so bigger and better than mine and I get a little upset, because I feel like i'm not trying hard enough with my town and I feel like everybody's town is better than mine. This is even the case with underdeveloped towns like seriously. I think everyone's town is better than mine. I don't really consider my town to be really nice looking although people have complimented me on it. It's nice in some aspects I just think I could do better.

No. I like my town but there's better designed ones out there.

People like what they like, everybody has different tastes. Personally, I really like Katt. I'm not a huge fan of Chrissy and Francine as they look like they're humans in a bunny suit to me a little, but I respect that some people do like them, although I don't personally.

Against my friends, I tend to think my town is better than theirs. But then when I visit some Japanese town in the Dream Suite, I always feel like my town sucks.

I think everyone has their own styles and personality and their towns reflect that. So when I go to someone else town and think mine is better, it's not because theirs is worse, it's that their town is not at par with my personal preference. I've seen some amazing towns, lots of effort put in and their mayors very proud, but it's not my jam. Also you know, bias based of the effort you put in versus just showing up one day and seeing a town. We hardly get to see anyone else's progress from start to now.
