Do you have a 3DS XL, 3DS, or 2DS?

It seems like everybody has an XL. When I was buying a 3DS all they had was XL's, so I had to look around. To me the XL's look cheaper. Like it's made out of plastic. Plus I like how shiny the 3DS is. I would get one if I found a nice looking one though. What kind of 3DS do you guys have?

I've had my 3DS since 2011 but I'll be getting a 3DS XL if some decent colors come out.

3ds xl definitely isnt anything like plastic it is way more well made compared, if you picked one up you would probably understand where Im coming from

i have a regular blue 3ds that I preordered and got when they first came out. I've been toying with the idea of maybe trying to snag a pink and white xl on sale this year though.

I still have my black 3DS. Good condition too. Either they're sturdier or I actually learned how to take care of my expensive devices since I had my DS Lites.

But as soon as I see a purple 3DS XL, that baby's mine.

if in many years my 3ds breaks, i would want a 3ds xl that is all white or the mint white one (if it comes to america that is). i really like the 3ds xl colors .

3DS XL. I enjoy having the larger screen. I just can't stand the weight of them. I have the Zelda 3DS XL & it's a lot heavier than the Pink 3DS XL @-@ It drives me nuts!

I have a 3DS XL. Tbh, it does feel cheaper to me because the back squeaks often, but I got it for the same price as a regular 3DS, so it's not too bad. Other than that, I absolutely love it.

i have both. i prefer the larger screen of the xl, but it's so heavy... sometimes my hands hurt from playing with it. i couldn't go back to the regular 3ds tho, the screen is too small it makes my eyes hurt after playing it for a while.

To be honest, the matte finish on it is what makes it look cheaper. To me, the regular 3DS looks cheaper. But alas, I have large hands and therefore have to use the 3DSXL.

Ironically, I thought the shiny chrome finish made the regular 3DS looked cheap and blocky. It looks just too prone to smudges and looked like a cheap-o toy or something. Just my opinion. ^^ Also the 3ds buttons and stylus placement aren't my thing. I don't like the thin metal extendable stylus. The buttons aren't distinct for home, select, start. I prefer the XL pastel colors, matte finish, rounded edges, stylus and stylus placement. ^^

got a flame red 3ds 2 years ago. it looks so pretty and is still in new condition but might upgrade to an XL later.

I like blue, so I was fine with mine being blue. But I gotta agree with you. Other countries get special versions, it makes me mad. Course, you could get those cover stickers and use those instead. Got a friend with a gold 3DSXL who put a nice FE:A on hers.

I have an american 2ds, which isn't even my region and I can't afford to import. So yeah. I got a useless plastic bread slice.


I also had a 3ds xl that I gave to a friend, I prefer the 2ds, but thats just my preference. It's sturdy but I like it because it's small and I play my 3DS A LOT, my 3ds xl's hinges had become hopelessly weak, and trust me ; Anything I buy with my own money I treat with more care than I treat myself or most people.
