Do you hate school/School Starts today!

And no, college professors really aren't much better. If anything, they won't "baby step" you through your class work and remind you to complete it. For the most part, they're much more apathetic. Their job doesn't depend on your performance in the class. They get paid whether you come to class or not. Plus they have many more students than the typical grade school teacher, so chances are they won't even know who you are unless you familiarize yourself with them.

That was never my experience with college professors whatsoever. High school teachers always talked so scary about college, but then I got to college and it just wasn't like that. While not every professor is the same, they still babied us through a lot of stuff, and constantly reminded us of assignments and upcoming exams.

Overall I had a very positive experience with college (both community and university). I want so bad to go back...

As long as I dont have cranky old mean teachers for the rest of my school days Im fine I guess.

And as long as college allows more freedom.

Not "hate", I honestly don't even mind it. I'm not lazy and get my work done pretty fast. Everyone else in my homeroom sucks, though. I despise some people though, but other than that it's fine.

Yes, I do. I hate it when people tell me I should enjoy my time at school. Why should I try to force myself to enjoy school when it stresses me out beyond belief and causes me to cry to myself every night? That's not healthy...

The work part isn't so bad. The part where they stress me out to get to class on time takes all the energy from me. After my energy is drained I'm more vulnerable to anxiety attack. Normally I can't eat when I'm having an anxiety attack so I end up starving myself. After I starve myself I loose more energy. After that I have PE and then PE is absolute h*** and I have a breakdown. Every single day... I hate school. Luckily this years academic stuff is really easy because I learned it all in past years and remember it. I don't even know why we're learning it again. I guess the only other bad thing is I have a creepy reputation, that doesn't really bother me though. I have nice friends who stick with me anyways.

School's okay. I've been very stressed out with my work so far this year, but that's mostly due to external stuff going on. I do well and it's fine as long as I'm able to stay caught up with everything.

All of my close friends go to a different school, so that kind of sucks, but it's no big deal. Precalculus kind of sucks, too, but I'm beginning to get better at it.

I only have one annoying teacher, bu apart from that I kinda like school...? Lots of my classes I have friends in and It all ok. School isn't just teachers guys.

I didn't hate it, I quite enjoyed it. Although the people got on my nerves a lot. College is a lot better though, and my experience with it is the total opposite of what my high school teachers told us to expect

I didn't like high-school and my earliest school too much, but uni and grade 6-9 was pretty good as for school went..

If my English teacher taught everything and out curriculum wasn't ****, maybe I wouldn't hate it as much, but that clearly isn't the case.

this year i haven't had any problems with my teachers, although some lessons are sooooooooooo boring. in my science class we are basically repeating the same thing over and over.
ch1 protons neutrons electrons
ch2 neutrons electrons protons

thankfully my seat in that class is good so i can talk all day and not get noticed

Yup. I hate school because I'm stuck working with a bunch of idiotic students. They make fun of me for being smart yet they come crawling to me to copy my answers. The teachers are actually nice though, so I cringe knowing what they have to put up with.

Basically my school life. Another problem is that I, along with most of my class, am better at maths than my maths teacher. I'm pretty sure her degree is in Textiles, and her maths knowledge is GCSE level.

I don't mind /most/ of my classes, but there's a ton of people I can't stand to be around. Luckily I graduate in a few months, so I won't have to deal with them anymore.

Oh, and I also have a teacher who plays favorites. It's extremely annoying but I try my best to deal with it.

I generally enjoyed my time at school.

of course there were a large pool of students there that I didn't particularly like, but you're asking me if I like school, not its students :)

My school used to be terrible, however now it's one of the most improved schools in our county. I liked most of my teachers, I mean one of the assistant teachers in my french class helped me cheat on my speaking and reading exams (she literally told me all of the answers. She was a sweet old lady and I still miss her to this day!)

One thing that I've realised growing up is that you may dislike certain people in the past but then grow to absolutely adore them in the future, when circumstances change. For example, I used to hate one of my teachers in Secondary school, but last year when I left sixth form (college) I had her teach me one of my main subjects and we grew really close to one another.

This year has been by favorite year my far. I recently moved and the best thing about my move is the school. Back where I lived, I wasn't learning anything and it was, really, really frustrating. I moved school after school and of those before my move, my favorite was gifted class because, I worked at my own pace and I had challenges every day. The school I attend right now, has very stiff competition, amazing classes, and many many extracurriculars that I very enjoy such as Raytheon Math Counts, Chess Team, and Academic Challenge Bowl and I have a future unlike the other school I attended. The school has about 20 students that are accepted to Ivy League Universities each year! We also compete at the national level of the Mathcounts competition and place very well. I made many friends, (this is just my preference) almost the entire school are my ethnicity, korean, and all in all it's been a great school year although I had a hard time adapting to the much harder classes, competition and overall expectations of my family. But I'm learning something. Every day. It's just an amazing thing.

I don't hate school because most of my friends are there and I get to learn, but at the same time it's so stressful because I get a lot of work and some of my classmates are so stupid or full of themselves it just makes me so mad @.@
