Do you guys miss nighttime boat rides with kapp'n to the island to catch tree beetles? That was one of my FAVEORITE things to do in new leaf. Relaxing at night on the island, catching a full inventory of beetles while listening to the waves crash. Then coming back to your town to sell all the beetles with the night owl ordinance and making bank. The good old days
I hope he’s added back into the game, considering we have a dock and all. Also, wasn’t he in the official art work of NH, along with K.K, Nook and Isabelle? I could be imagining it, lol
He's so special to me. New leaf was a very special game for in me in general. When I played in that time in my life I was very alone, I had moved to a new state, knew legit NOBODY, no friends or family, and that game was there for me. It really hit home when I would ride the boat and kapp'n would sing those heartfelt songs to me. Super sentimental He better make a comeback or I'm returning my switch I'm playin
I really miss grinding for beetles! I would get into a zone and it was just soooo relaxing, especially with the gorgeous night time music.
Then again, because there are so few house/room upgrades in NH, I feel like if the island was available, I would have had my whole house paid off about a week ago. And I kind of like working towards that goal over a long period of time.
I think they got rid of the island to keep the game balanced, but I wish they had simply kept the many home expansions in place and also kept the island!
