overthinks everything
As a player who never feels like she needs to complete anything, since it's a sandbox game, I'm curious as to what ACNH players who are completionists do.
What is it that you feel you must complete? All Nook Miles achievements? All fish/insect/fossil/art collections? A catalogue of every furniture/outfit/recipe/Gulliver gift there is? All hybrids? Do you prefer to complete slowly, without trading or time travelling, or do you prefer to do it quickly? Is there a reason for your method?
I've played Wild World and New Leaf before New Horizons. I love the franchise. But I've never been a completionist. Never set out to collect a full set of anything. Never kept a list. It's too much work.
In real life, I'm very organized, I do everything I'm supposed to do, if I start something I will not rest until I finish it. I guess maybe that's why when I play games, I don't go after achievements. I play my games to enjoy them. If I had to set a list of goals to achieve, it'd be too stressful and, if I wanted stress, I could just go back to living my life instead.
