Do you feel bad about kicking villagers out via amiibo move-ins?

I'm talking about using amiibos to get rid of a villager and have them replaced with said amiibo.
I can't help but think that'd I'd rather wait for them to move out naturally and give them a chance to get adopted (I mean, even the least liked villager has got the potential to be someone's dreamie). But since I don't TT, it's taking forever for villagers to actually want to move.
What are your thoughts on this?

Not at all. I feel more bad by saying "yes" to them when they ask to move away and they say something like "i'll never forget you" adfsgdhdj

Maybe it would help you feel better if you find them a home? When mine move naturally (or TT) I give them away to people that are searching for them, here or in other websites. I feel a little sad when some end on the void regardless.

I would rather have my favorite villagers than wait for some one i am not that fond of to move out. of the 2 move out requests i had so far, only one was from someone i wanted to let go of. I dont want to imagine how long it might take before i get another one i can accept. It is so sweet of you to feel this way, though!

Yeah, I know. Which is why I've been contemplating just going ahead with it anyway but I can't help but think someone might want Apple, Octavian or Norma (or maybe even Hazel).
I know that Apple and Octavian are semi-popular at least so it would be a shame to deprive someone of them in that way...

No, they should feel bad for over staying their welcome and forcing me to use amiibo cards to get them out

No. They don't have real feelings towards the matter, and if they did, I'd feel more bad about moving their house around the map every couple weeks. 🤣
Besides they always seem happy about moving anyways. It's the other villagers who get sad about the move.

A little, even though the ones I'm booting now are coming back with their default homes.

If they're someone I like and have grown attached to, yes. I am planning on replacing Bluebear because I have two Peppies and I need a Cranky, but I can't bring myself to do it via Amiibo even though I can.

If it's someone I had never intended to keep, then no - I didn't even say bye to Astrid when I kicked her out. :p

I know it's dumb and my boyfriend is the kind to always tell me "they don't have feelings", but stillll

I guess one thing that kinda makes me feel better is when you do kick them out with an Amiibo, they always say something along the lines of they were planning to leave anyway, so it's not so bad.

no, why should i?
it is my town/island, i decide who lives here, he he :P

Nope. Nothing brought me more joy than seeing Wendy getting kicked out for my favorite female villager, Diana.

Not particularly, I traded Wendy for Molly and I gave Wendy a good home to someone. It was well worth it.

Yeah, I feel bad so I don't do it. I happen to like all of my villagers though, even if I know I'll be letting them move when they ask.

My current method is to wait for them to ask. Then when they're gone I'll island hop a little to see who I find. If I don't find anyone I want to invite, then I'll use my amiibo.

I KonMari them, say thank you and I move on. Sorry, but you are not bringing joy to my island.

This is why I haven’t used my amiibo cards yet, despite really wanting a few villagers to move. I’m ready for Hazel, Dotty, and Renée to go, but I still get attached and I feel guilty forcing them out.

Not to the said villager, but just by getting your dream villagers in by amiibo card. It takes away the magic of getting the villagers by yourself. I mean, just like shiny hunting, finding a villager you really want by the mystery islands is far more magical, rewarding and makes you feel accomplished then to just get them by amiibo card.

I'm so freaking glad I am not the only one! 🤣
Heck even just a move in from campsite in general had me feeling bad!
Damn moral compass making me feel bad for forcing a villager to move from my town...
