Do you customise furniture?

Animal Crossing has had no updates so they can't have fixed it, unless the Wikia is just incorrect. Perhaps the ores give the correct ones?
Also, do you have any tips on what to use the ores with? It seems a waste to sell them but as far as I'm aware, most of the furniture looks ugly when customised with ore, bar a piggy bank or two.

Well iirc I got red when I used ruby so either they did or someone forgot to update the New Leaf section.. Oh well guess I could try.

Idk if you can use em on chess pieces in this game but I did that in HHD and they look awesome. Also modern set I guess?

I customize stuff and I could care less about the badge. I always customize my furniture sets in my main room unless if these furniture have no customization options. Sometimes I give customized furniture to the villagers I'm good friends with and see their happy reactions.

Definitely! Some of the items look so much nicer when they're customised, and I think it adds a bit more of your personality to your room.

Sometimes I customise just to see what it looks like (like with the rice cooker and hot pot) and it's an easy badge to get so I'll keep doing it.

I'm pretty close to getting the gold badge in refurbishing. Pretty much 90% of the furniture in my house and my 2 alt's houses are refurbished so it's a regular thing for me.

I love the look of customized furniture, but I never have the will to sit down and customize an entire set because of time restraints so I usually end up never customizing my furniture.

I like to make/find custom designs and use them on throw pillows that come with chairs/couches!! It makes furniture feel more like yours, you know?

Not sure if using the ores had the same issue as just regular customisation, but I did some Googling and it turns out that only American copies of the game are affected although the information is a little scattered and hazy. This will just make it even more confusing now.

im too lazy to customize. i only customize if that customization design of that furniture appeals to me a lot which most furniture doesnt.

I refurbish most of my furniture because I like the options it gives me for making my houses and museum display rooms look different ^~^ I just recently made my exotic set black and red and it is gorgeous.
