I haven't really been trying to work on my HHA score that much, mainly because the only improvement hints seem to center around stuff such as stuffing my house with bugs. only having a score of 15,000 when my house is apparently supposed to be getting 50,000 is a bit of a downer though.
I have been doing some fung shui, but recently I've started tripping for no apparent reason so I'm not sure how well it's working.
Since I only just paid off my second story i haven't been furnishing my house with complete sets (except I guess the modern wood and partial Green and Red Polka Dot sets), and I've generally been placing the more exotic stuff (at the moment only balloon and Nintendo furniture) in the Museum.
I don't care at all. XD
I don't like any of the prizes.
I've decorated my house according to my own tastes.
It's a lot of mixing up sets so I don't have many points, but I don't care.
No, I also feel that just having full sets can be boring. Plus it means you would have a bed in almost every room, which feels silly to me! I don't like the gold exteriors so there's no point in me trying to get them.
Feng shui I don't really mind or care about, but I absolutely HATE the HHA score. Collecting badges is one of my favorite things to do, but the fact that I can't even get the silver HHA badge annoys me so much. Especially since I love the way my house looks.
I did at the beginning just for the challenge and prizes. Once I was done I changed the house to the way I liked.
It's annoying when he complains that items are on the ground. Some furniture pieces only have a few spots that will hold pictures or other items. When you get all ten pictures it a challenge finding a spot. To make room they should have let us hang the villager pictures on the wall.
Also annoying was kitchen and bathroom items didn't fit in the rustic theme. The game should have those items for all themes.
Poor Ed was complaining that there isn't a bathroom in town.
The game should also let us type the theme. A lot of people have holiday, hotel or Gracies only themes. Those items don't work in the challenge.
I do try to find a balance between the HHA challenges, Feng Shui and my own decoration "sense". In fact, feng shui did help me a lot, since interior designing really isn't my thing, so I'm thankful for that. Some of the HHA rules are really a bother though, but again, no one is forcing you to obey them.
having an all golden house exterior must be exciting though.
Trying to complete the HHA Theme Challenge while not changing out any sets (though I've decided to ditch Kiddie because I've grown sick of it). Pretty sure I'll have it in the bag with Harmonious.
