Do you care about your HHA score or Feng Shui?

yes I care because I love receiving their prizes but when finally I will have them all
I will get rid of all the current objects and restyle my house according to my tastes that, unfortunately for them, conisist of mixing pieces from different sets

I don't care about the HHA, but back when I was first starting out the game I made sure I had everything feng shui since i didn't have most of the furniture I wanted yet. I just got all good luck and paid off my loan really quickly.

ugh i agree with you, i hate hha. i find it SO boring to put full sets in a single room omg. i only just found out that most people do that because of hha, though. i used to be extremely confused as to why 9/10 streetpass homes had a room dedicated to mermaid furniture LOL

i don't think i've ever even spoken to lyle tbqh. i barely even notice him.

In the early game, I care about green and red shui, so I can shake better furniture from trees, but otherwise not so much. I definitely don't care about HHA scores.

Yep, I play the HHA game. It's something to work towards (getting all the prizes), which is fun. But it does bother me a lot that it stifles creativity the way it does, so once I have achieved all I can, my interior will be getting a major overhaul. I don't really like having to have a full set of furniture in order to get points (unless I really love the set). I'm conscious of feng shui, but I don't cram red/yellow/green items into my house. If I have something green, yellow or red, I'll place it so I get the luck effect.

No because I like where I put my stuff. I ain't letting some HHA judge my work >:c

I don't care about either of them. It's my home. The HHA can't tell me my home is happy. I will know when my home is happy if I'm happy with the rooms.

Yes and no. It's nice having a high score, but I want my house the way I want it to be.

Why discourage people from being creative and picking individual pieces they like?
The one thing I never understood about this game. I thought you were supposed to build your own personal town, so why exactly do we need to put certain things in certain places...?

I completely agree with you. I have the Ice series in one of my characters' rooms, and my mayor uses a few Modern pieces, but other than that, I just do whatever I want. I may get the HHA gold badge someday....if I ever feel like taking everything out of my house.

I've never bothered with HHA having each roomust filled with one set is boring, i just did what i wanted somehow managed to get 150,000 points though?

I do for my HHA score, but at the same time I don't. I like having a nice score, but I also like making rooms look nice to me. I'll usually use a full set though and put in a few other things that would seem fitting.

Don't care at all about Feng Shui though. Too much patience for me.

I aimed for 1.1 million HHA score then I decorated to my hearts content.
I think the HHA challenge benefited me because I went out looking for furniture series. The reason I completed most of my furniture series collection was because I felt the need to collect more pieces/points. Once the challenge was over. I found myself with many of the furniture I needed for my dream/original designed rooms.

I don't care about the score at all. After I finish with my Harmonious theme and get the Golden exteriors for completionist's sake, I'm done with the HHA. Having one complete set in a room is just so boring. I love how the HHA basically says, "You have a bed in every single room? Fantastic! Incredible! Can't top that interior design. One million points to you."

I don't really get feng shui and I just put stuff in my house that looks pretty and the points appear. I like getting the prizes, but I don't actively work to seek them, if you get what I mean.

I love when my HHA score gets higher, but I don't do much to raise it. I always forget where everything goes in feng shui, so I never really bothered with it!

Feng Shui honestly benefits me- I think I have subpar luck otherwise.

But as for the HHA- they can kiss it. So can the villagers that come over and tell me how barren everything is. I don't like clutter.

I do try to get points, though- mainly for prizes and things.

I was wondering if I was the only person like this. From the start I was of the opinion I would be decorating my house the way I wanted it, and not to please a bunch of random number generators.

I'm still monitoring my HHA score though because I'm finding it hilarious. Lyle was constantly raving about how much they loved my first room when I was using it as a storage dumping ground in which it was impossible to move freely, when all the other rooms were carefully designed bedrooms, rec rooms, bathrooms and kitchens. My score was between 20000-30000 when I was using the front room as a dumping ground, but now I've actually organised it to try and make it look nice my score has plummeted to 12000.

One day I might decide to try and reach to top scores, but I'm currently very happy expanding my house, furnishing it how I want, filling my encyclopedias and working in PWPs. That's the nice thing about this game, it gives you lots of things to do and lets you pick which ones you want.
