Do you care about getting all villager types?

As I said, do you think it is important to have all varieties of villagers in your town? Like having at least one of each (normal, sisterly, peppy, snooty, smug, cranky, lazy and jock) because I am thinking about my dream villagers and they are almost all the same type (normal, they are too cute I can’t help it). I feel like having an ACNL town with more than half of the same type won’t make the game as fun and probably should consider getting more than three types in there lol. Also, there are certain public works projects that can only be suggested by certain types of villagers so there’s that too.
pls help me or tell me I’m not the only one jskahdjafh

It's important to me to always have all of the personality types in my final villager line-ups. I'm pretty OCD about things being even so for the 2 extra villagers I like to have 1 male and 1 female to make 5 of each.

For New Leaf, it was necessary to have all of the personality types to obtain all of the PWPs, but I just like having them for the different dialogue and interactions. It probably helps that I rarely choose villagers based just on looks and can fall in love with any villager I meet.

i think its important to have diversity, bc otherwise its like talking to the same person over and over if u have too many of the same personality

Yes, I make sure I get all types. I like the variety with them all and I feel like the villager interactions will get boring with the same types.

I seem to preference Cranky, Lazy and Peppy villagers, though it's not intentional. I want to get a wider range of PWP, so I let a few peppy villagers go to bring in a sisterly (Deirdre) villager.

I don't really care that much but every now and then I wish I had more variety in villager types :') When you get the same interactions over and over again it can get tiresome ngl

Absolutely, or everyone will act the same, dialogue it's one of the most important things in AC games in my opinion.

I'm still learning about the game but it's no desire to get all different villagers. So long as they're happy in my town!

I wanted at least one of each personality type in my town until I realized all of the uchi villagers are ugly (to me). I had Muffy in New Leaf and loved her but in this game, she always picked fights with my villagers and was rude to me, so she got the boot.

I would be okay with a town of only smug, jock, peppy and cranky villagers. Do villagers craft the same DIYs regardless of personality? Always wondered this.

Nope, I don't see a point other than for public works projects. If I like their look and type, then I'll have them.

I initially kept one of each for public work projects but now that I have unlocked most of the PWP. I see no reason to keep cranky villagers that don't go along well with other villagers' personalities. The other troublesome personality is snooty villager but I kept Diana because she is queen I mostly prefer peppy and normal villagers

Definitely. The bigger question is what 2 personalities do I like enough to have 2 of the same.

I collect all villager types just to get variety and also pwp’s.. but also I am very into lazy and normal villagers so those 2 would be my extra (+2) after I get the 8 other villager types

I love getting all the different villagers. Seeing their personalities.
