I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm wondering how you guys treat your other characters if you have any.
Are they just mules or do you really integrate them into your town?

I'm currently deciding whether I should make a third character or completely throw the idea of other characters for extra storage overboard by drastically reducing the items I'd keep. I noticed that after deleting and recreating my second character I didn't really feel like talking to other villagers at all because I realized how much their "I think he is kind of a new face!" yack was getting on my nerves. I obviously love my mayor too much to concentrate on other characters. :D

Just mules lol. They're there for extra storage, path patterns, and houses to decorate. They don't interact with my villagers and my mayor gives them all the bells and items they need :-p

I voted the wrong one >< but I don't have any other characters. I was thinking of making one in the future though.

I don't even have any. If I did, they'd be for items, but I don't see me ever needing one. I think managing two seperate mayors gives me more than enough to do in New Leaf!

Sometimes. In total I have three characters. I play with my mayor most, but I like my second character quite a lot, too. The third character is for my brother, so I don't really play with that character, but he (rarely) does.

Nah, I only use them for decoration or pattern holding. I tried to actively play my 2nd character, but I ended up getting confused so I stopped. They're better off staying as storage for me.

I just use my other characters as mules, I don't really see the point in actually playing them when you have your mayor.

theyre just mules to me ...
i know some people makes back stories for their side characters and such but it really annoys me
like why ugh
but w/e to each his own i guess

I pour myself into my mayor, and that's really it.

I have a kind of theme that they support, but they're only real purpose is to hold patterns and look creepy.

I have one side character. She still owns a tent, but I already have her since 2 weeks. I really have no idea what to do with my side characters. I wanna make a new one soon, but for what?

I made one, played with her for a while, and then decided she was taking up prime real estate and demolished her house.

I just needed someone to try on my QR patterns. I like to make dresses.

I do sometimes. Especially in my main game, because my side character has all of the items I have for trade. He is my pattern mule, too, but I'm still trying to upgrade his house, and I still take him to the island sometimes.

In my second game, I have two other characters, and I really want to play with them, but It's difficult to manage five characters.

I only use my second character for paths and to get extra event items >w< But I feel as though I should really play her more in order to flesh out her character ;o;

I don't have any other characters. I made a few at the beginning just to hold the places for my main PWP's: cafe, lighthouse, and police station, but deleted them as the projects became available. I've considered a second character as a mule for QR patterns and storage, but I'd be at a loss for house placement (and I'd feel bad not using them for anything else). Maybe one day, but then again, maybe not.

It'd be neat if whenever you were playing as a the mayor (or another character), you could enter another character's home to find them aimlessly milling about. If you spoke to them, it could be like a dream where all they say is their TPC phrase. Or even just a standard greeting. "Hello, good morning!" "Good evening."

No. My other character is just a pattern mule. And sometimes it bugs me that he needs to have his own house because it takes up space I could be using for something else
