Do villagers scanned with amiibo ask to move?

I know in new leaf villagers scanned in very rarely asked to leave. Is that the same?

I had heard through the grapevine that they did not; however while I was trying to cycle out villagers my Stitches (an amiibo invited villager) asked to move.

So perhaps it's rarer- I have no idea. I've TT'd to move people out a lot since then and he's never asked again, so perhaps.

They do ask to move, every amiibo villager I've scanned in have asked to move.

When I scanned in Marshal in my first island he wanted to move the very next day after he moved in, so I'm not sure if that's the case.

They do. All my villagers I scanned with amiibos have asked to move. The latest being Genji.

Lol Kyle has asked me to move at least 3 times (I do timetravel). Among others, scanned or not, I have felt that the more attention I give them the more chance they will ask.
