Do villagers go on the secret beach?

Yes they definitely can! I recently caught Bunnie doing her daily weights routine on the secret beach. It’s a fair hike from her house/resident services too...

I have seen Julian and probably, Apollo walking by on my secret beach (both their houses are far from the place). As long as you have access to it and it's not blocked by a cliff that you need to use a ladder or something, they can go there.

Ever since i made a path down too it, I have seen a couple of my villagers who live close by walk down there. I didn't think it was a thing either till that happened.

Mine has a path leading to it and I recently saw Tom hanging out there working out. He's the only one I've ever seen there though.

I have a trail across the whole back of the island, another trail that leads straight to the secret beach and a staircase behind my museum that also leads directly to the beach. So it definitely does get some action from the villagers. I also see them walking along the trail and sometimes exercising on some of the grey ledges as well. I think all you need to do is make it accessible.

the only way to get to the secret beach on my island is to hop across multiple patches of grass on the water in between two waterfalls so it stays secret and none of the villagers can get there. it just made sense to me to make it so its not easily accessible idk

That's cool though than it's a private beach.. if I was to reset I really wanted mine on the side so it could be just for me but because mines in the middle I'm leaving it open for the villagers now

it's near my second characters house so yes, they could be there from time to time. even saw daisy mae there once.

I've never seen any of mine on the secret beach! Unfortunately I didn't make it accessible when I built my beighborhood (Redd wasn't a thing yet) and you need a ladder to get down there. Oh well!

They can spawn there even if there's no entrance lol, I've had one of my villagers doing exercises there before I even got terraforming
