Hi, this might be a silly question ;;

There's been a lot of glitches with the Amiibo cards overall but does anyone know if they're region locked?
Like if I have a Japanese Amiibo card will it scan and work with New Horizons

Yes, regular Amiibo cards should work fine, as they aren't region locked. I have, however, seen people have issues with the Sanrio cards.

Ah okay, thank you so much!
I was a bit worried because they came out in the 3ds era where they were locked and I dunno if it being in Japanese would mess with it in Horizons

They weren't locked in the 3ds era either. The only difference between the cards is the face designs, they all have the same info on them even if they're from different regions. :)
