Title. Does an open plot stay where the villager's house was, or is it just completely gone? Villager's just asked to move out, and I'm wondering if I need to invite an amiibo camper today to make sure the plot doesn't get filled by a random.
yep, plots/house placements don't move unless you pay the 50k bell fee to move them. And once a villager moves out, you get one day to find a villager to move into the plot before a random takes it the next day :O (at least in my experience and from what ive seen from others)
Plot stays there, and depending on how many villagers you have you might get a random move in a day after the previous villager moved out, or if it was your 10th villager that moved out you'll get a random move in in a couple of days but there doesn't seem to be a set day. Sometimes it's immediately after, but for me I think it took 3 days before I got a random move in
