Do events impact tents?

I've been tent resetting today on my cycling town and I wasn't getting any tents consistently and I thought it was because I was on a bug off, but I went forward a day to before 6AM then turned it off and waited and when I went back on after 6 and tried to tent reset again I'm still not getting anyone. I think there might be a fireworks festival on the day I'm on currently. Are the festivals and events preventing me from getting tents or is my luck just sucky today?

I've found that campers don't show up on holidays. I think that there are a few events that don't impact campers, but I can't remember them off the top of my head, and I figure that it's just easier to just not campsite reset on any holidays instead of trying to remember the days you can use.
