I haven't got any amiibos yet but I've just ordered some so I was wondering if amiibo villagers move into the same plot of the person the kicked out? I've got two specific villagers (Alli & Frita) That I don't actually like and their plot is in places that just ruins everything, so I don't really want to get my new villager moving into the same plot. Thanks! :D

From what I've experienced, Wolf Link was only moving into the places of Beau, Chops and Walt, like exactly in the same spot. Not sure if it applies to everyone but maybe try blocking the areas off with PWPs to be safe?

In my town, Flora. I invited Cece and Elmer in while the town was full. Elmer didn't move on or nowhere near Hamlet's old spot, While Cece kept going on Kabuki's old spot or right next to it.

I guess it doesn't matter.

Thanks for your help guys! Yeah I think I'll have to wait for them to move out then :( But I guess it's a good thing since there's a way now to keep the plots you like :D

I can confirm that I invited Wolf Link and rather than living in the same spot which Chadder was, he went to live at the right side of my home (the mayor).

They don't have to move into the old plots, though they may show a preference for that area. Just keep plot resetting until you're happy with the placement, and maybe power down the system entirely between resets if the villager seems to be "stuck" in one place.
