Do Amiibo-Summoned villagers ever ping you to move?

Villagers you invited into your town by scanning an amiibo card will ask to move but it?s much less frequent than other villagers.
So yes, they ping you. But it?s a lot less likely, it can take months for them to consider moving.^^

In my town of Old Leaf, I have 10 wolves and all came in via Amiibo cards and a Smash Bros Link figurine. They wasted no time pinging to leave and some left without notice. (Whitney, 3 times) Slippery little varmints. So, yes, they definitely will try to flee. EDIT: Really haven't noticed in the "mixed" towns.

I think if your town is completely full of amiibo they will ask to leave, but it's much harder if your town has other move ins. I think I got Punchy at least 6 months ago and he hasn't asked to move out. I've time travelled many times too and it hasn't done anything-not that I want him to move out. just saying

I've had mine, only 3, for months but have never pinged to say they're moving. Maybe the instinctly know that they're stuck in Trinket forever.

My amiibo scanned villagers ping regularly to move, but it takes a while before they begin doing it. At least that is what I have found to be true in my games.

Trinket! What an adorable name!

i've had marty in my town for ages, scanned him in the first week of my town. i haven't had him ping to move AT. ALL.
that reminds me, i also scanned kiki in asap, and she also has never ever pinged to move.

contrary to that, at least 5 previous non-amiibo villagers have moved out.

tl;dr, it takes a very long time in a mixed town.

I'm pretty sure if it's a town of all amiibo villagers, they will ask to move normally. If it's a mixture, they are less likely to move out than random move-ins

When it's an all amiibo town, yes, they ping, but if you let one amiibo move out, and get a regular villager to move in, that regular villaper will ping to move every second time.

It’s very rare for Amiibo villagers to ping you unless you have 8+ of them in your town. I’ve noticed that with all three of my towns since most of my villagers are now Amiibos.

They do ask to move, just not as often as villagers who weren?t summoned using an amiibo card.
