Why did they make it so we aren't allowed to store DIY recipes in our Home storage, it makes it so much harder for people that try to sell them. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Probably, they assumed it's immediately shared to friends and family as soon as spares are received. They playtested on very limited aspects (like overlooking the option to bulk craft and the notorious villager glitching atm) so I guess they never considered that we'd have tons of unusable spares.

Not sure... Same thing with flowers. Can't store them, yet you can store fish and bugs...? Very interesting development choices, I will say.

The reason why you can't store uprooted flowers and trees are strange but realistically...I guess it's complicated to shove a giant tree and literal flower to your storage. Then again...it's fiction so I guess it shouldn't matter...?

It's not like the storage is shared between alt and main characters so...why, indeed...🤔

Yes! Both the inability to store DIY recipes and turnips are both seemingly super obvious things that you should be able to store and the decision to not allowed them to be is so frustrating!

I would see it as realism if they also applied this to bugs/fish... I just think that if I can throw a live Oarfish into a cabinet for 4 months, I should probably be able to put a flower in there too.

Turnips I understand, because it’s very easy to forget about them if they’re not sitting out somewhere. But recipes absolutely need to go in storage, there’s no reason that they shouldn’t. Flowers too really

Turnips i suppose are a little more reasonable because they expire in a week, so its like you slip up and now you have 3000000 bells worth of expired turnips in your storage yaknow
