Diving Trick Woes

I seem to be getting a fair amount of PWPs from villagers via the diving trick; but none that I actually want! It's actually annoying since they're always things like the Pyramid that I'm never gonna use (although I'm not too mad at Klaus for suggesting that since he's a sweetie pie who just wants to form an animal empire like a good lil bear and strike fear into the hearts of men with imposing exotic landmarks <3).

I really want the zen PWPs but the only person in my town who can suggest them is Frank and he's being awfully stubborn about it.

Is anyone here having a similar problem?

OMG, me too. I even have 2 crankies and they only suggested one freaking zen pwp so far. On the other hand, I've gotten everything I need to make a modern town... only I clearly don't want one! x)

Ironically I had a pretty good idea for a modern town this morning as well; but people aren't requesting the modern pwps either!

I usually try the diving trick or farm for pwp request during the time when the other villagers are asleep, like it'll be much more convenient to farm for cranky-exclusive pwps around 2-3 or 4am since everyone is already asleep except for the cranky and uchi villagers (assuming you didn't set the ordinance to night-owl).

The lazy villagers are harder to farm though. They go to bed early and then wakes up when almost everyone are already out of their houses.

Another good way to get specific request is to let that one villager personality request for anything until they run out of pwp to ask and that one specific request you're looking for is the only one left. Pretty sure, you're going to get it the next time they ping you.

literally the pwps my villagers suggest are useless to me and i hate it

dig holes around all your villagers so you know exactly where they are (dont keep them next to a tree or a house since they seem to teleport out of the little dirt space for some reason. keeps happening to me.) then just do the diving trick as normal only be careful where you walk in case you ping the wrong villager.

That's how it went for me too, unfortunately you gotta put in so much work.
