I just got back from a band trip where we traveled to Disney World, and it was an amazing experience. I've been to both Disney Land and World once before, but the freedom we had roaming the parks with friends was unmatchable. Besides the rain (Sock and ZR know), it was great.

So, who has been to Disney? What's your favorite park, ride, restaurant, character, etc? What are your favorite Disney moments? What new additions are you looking forward to that have been built since you last visit or will be in the future?

We flew down from New Jersey on Tuesday afternoon, arriving at our hotel, The Rosen Plaza around 8:00. We had to take 3 seperate planes to transport everyone. The first day, we went to Hollywood Studios. Me and my friends rode The Tower Of Terror (which I hadn't been able to ride last time I went due to lack of time) 3 times, Rockin Rollercoaster 2 times, Toy Story Mania, saw the Extreme Stunt Show, Muppets 3D Vision, watched some of our friends perform at the American Idol Experience (one of them won) and watched Fantasmic before we left.

The second day, the bands performed at Downtown Disney, which was very fun. Afterwards, we browsed some shops and got ghirardelli shakes, then went to Magic Kingdom for the rest of the day.

The third day, we went to Epcot for the chorus and jazz band performances. We went on Soarin, the Finding Nemo ride, Test Track, Mission Space, the Norway and Mexico ride (I absolutely loved Mexico. It was beautiful), Spaceship Earth, ate in China, and watched the IllumiNations show at night. We also met Aladdin that day, and visited the butterfly enclosure where a butterfly landed on me and my friend's hands. The butterfly would not leave my friend, and he walked around with it on his hand for over 20 minutes.

For our final day, we went back to Magic Kingdom. Combined with our first visit, we went on The Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain 2 times, Monster Inc's Laugh Floor 2 times, Buzz Lightyear's shoot out 2 times, Big Thunder Railroad, Space Mountain (which has been closed both other times I've gone), It's a Small World, and met Mickey and Stitch.

Lucky!! ; u ;

I wish I could go again. You take a photo with Stitch?! Pls post the photo?

i always wanted to go but never have had the chance. And also i hear disney paris is awful and everyone is super-rude. s'yeah. In disneyland tokyo they have monsters inc. themed sushi and that sounds like the coolest thing ever. But other than that its pretty much exactly the same.

My current english lecturer actually worked at disneyland (She's 28, im not sure when she worked there tho), as a lifeguard, and then she filled in for ariel a few times and loved it. Eventually changed departments so she could play Minnie for those cancer-kid parties they throw and said it was probably the best job she ever had.

We also met Chip and Dale.

I also played with my orchestra in 9th grade! We went to Disneyland though. We got to go to the main Disney park and California Adventure. It was awesome. Being able to go to Disney with just your friends is definitely one of the best experiences. It was hilarious because when I rode the Tower of Terror with some friends, someone bought the picture that the ride takes automatically and everyone in the picture was screaming while I was just kind of in the back chillin'. I don't know if i still have the picture saved on my computer though which is a shame. Space Mountain is definitely one of the best Disney rides. pitch black roller coasters are really exciting. Also, if you ever do go to California Adventure, make sure you ride California Screamin'. One of the best roller coaster rides of my life! we also got to see the World of Color water show the night before we left. It was really pretty!

I'm jealous that you got to have some Ghirardelli shakes! Ghirardelli is so gooood.

I've never been to Disney anything, but I've been to Six Flags when I was around 6 or 7 years old.

I want to go someday.

I'm going to college next year, and it's actually 10 minutes away from Disneyland, so I'll for sure be getting an annual pass!! I've even heard of people going to Disney in between classes, and that you can hear the fireworks from campus every night. How awesome is that?? :) Anyways, I've been to both Disneyland and Disney World maybe 3 and 5 years ago, and they are both awesome! (especially Disney World of course :)) I'm so excited to be able to go year-round and see it for all of the different holidays and such, and hopefully become acquainted with some of the princesses and other Disney characters!

Disney is very nice! I hope to go there one day with some internet friends :D

I've never been, but I'm sure it would be a lot of fun.
My boyfriend got to go when his sister got married, and he told me about all the fun he had.
I was just a little bit jealous.

Also, I'm not sure how much I would enjoy it since I really don't like roller coasters much.
Though it seems like there's more to do there than ride roller coasters...? I wouldn't know.

Back when we used to live in Florida, we'd go there a lot. I used to love it as a kid, and I haven't been back there in about three years, but I don't remember it being all that fun last time I went. I like Universal a whole lot more, though. Fun Fact: When my grandpa on my mom's side was working on the hotels at Disney, Walt Disney asked him and a handful of others if he'd like to invest in Disney World/Disney Land. My grandpa said the idea would never work and turned him down. We could have been rich! ;_;

There are actually not that many coasters. It depends on the park you go to but the majority of rides are regular things.

If you go, skip animal kingdom unless you have a bunch of time. I mean animal kingdom is rather boring unless you can be there all day to see the parades, because there is actually only true ride if I remember correctly. I mean there is a safari as well but its only like 10 minutes.

Oh god the rain was awful.
Yeah, it put a damper on things, but oh well.

I was disappointed that we didn't go to Animal Kingdom, I really like it. There are only three big rides (that i can remember) and the safari, but it's really fun.

I saw some of your pictures on facebook. Looks like you had a pretty great time.

Sucks you didn't get to go to Animal Kingdom, it's one of my favorite parks too.

It was great. I do wish we had gone to Animal Kingdom, but we went to Magic Kingdom twice instead. I actually would have preferred going to Epcot twice, we could have spent a whole day just in the countries.

I know exactly how you feel. When I go I normally spend at least two whole days at Epcot.
Sometime next year I'll be going again with my whole family(50+ people, lawdy.) so it'll be pretty interesting. lol

50 people? Dougers much? Jk. I mean going to Magic Kingdom twice isn't great either.

Question: Anyone else think the Stich ride in Magic Kingdom is horrible? (In quality and smell)
