Discussion: Villagers pics

Today Grizzly asked for an apple and gave me his pic when I brought a perfect one! I was surprised because Grizzly hasn't been in town for very long and I didn't think we were good enough friends for him to give me his pic.

In the past, I've always been the type of Animal Crossing player to work really hard to get my favorite villagers' pics and wonder each time I do a favor for them "will this be the time they give it to me??", but with my current town I've just been going with the flow, I guess? What about you guys? Have you ever had something similar happen? How do you like to play?

Signs Villagers might give you their pics is when they offer you Timmy and Tommy's "Spotlight" items.
I had Marshal give me the Moon.What the Hell?

Soon, he gave me his pic.
Currently, he is doing it again in my new town.
