I play the game the way it's supposed to be played :/ Back when I used to play the original AC, I used to time travel like there's no tomorrow, LOL.

I don't time travel, but I do sometimes pull the villager reset trick once in a while )--(

I time travel every once in a while to grow trees/bushes or if I adopt a new villager and want them moved in and walking around town immediately.

I play the game with heavy time traveling. A lot of my enjoyment comes from landscaping and obtaining my dreamies. These are done most efficiently through time traveling (either to cycle out unwanted villagers, get materials for landscaping, unlock parts of the game I still havent unlocked on my 2nd town). I dont really like slow games but with time traveling ACNL feels more fast paced and still allows me to feel creative with landscaping the town

Yep, I feel the same way! My favourite aspect of ACNL is the landscaping part, and it's just so slow without time travelling. However, for most of the towns I've made (and destroyed) on NL, at a certain point when I'm comfortable with my town I usually stop TTing and take the game one day at a time. I'm currently behind on my 2nd cartridge and I've been slowly TTing to catch up to October. Once I get there I'm probably going to stop and play the game one day at a time for a while. I'm excited though to start a new town fo the 1 year ACNL challenge on Jan 1 and play the natural way.

I time travel whenever I want to breed flowers and get somw other things. But rn I don't time travel that much because there nothing to do.

I only TT to when the shops are open (I usually play in the morning). I don't like moving ahead to the next day, it spoils the experience for me.

I play legit. Used to TT in Precious towns, But I really think the game is more fun if I don't. :)

I played without time travel for quite some time when I first started, as back then I used to play daily and had more time available to get stuff done before everything shut for the night. I started time travelling when I realised I needed to use beautiful town ordinance to keep all my flowers alive and not spend ages having to water them daily. The shops were obviously closed earlier than as I couldn't use night owl so I didn't have much chance to get anything done during the week.
I now tt quite a lot as I've unlocked everything, for all dreamies, pretty much finished my town. It's more of a habit I've fallen into now and I enjoy being able to get several days done within one real time day .
And I always do plot resetting. If a villager were to move in on their own without me resetting, they would ruin my town whenever they plotted as I have all my ground space (pretty much) full of items and hybrids. If Nintendo were to put on a function to make moving villagers and plotting them easier, obviously that would be one less thing I'd bother with

I play day to day and have my clock set back 4hrs so I make the most of my day when I play in the evenings. I don't time travel and only did last week, for the first time since having the game, to move out and adopt villagers. It's new to me and I find it a little scary but it was fun!

I time travel all day, every day and always have. I don't feel I am playing the game illegitimately. I play in the manner that works best for me and my schedule. Even back in the day when I only had one or two towns, I always time traveled.

Hahah, no I doubt it. I would never have that much patience to wait a whole other day just for a pwp to be finished and then realise it's placed wrong and then it take a whole day of it to be demolished that's like 3 days, no thanks. It would take me 5 min using time travelling.

Yikes, I TT because I can't really wait around for new items to pop into my stores... I'm like "what if it's rare..what if I need it.." buuut I'm starting to drop the habit, it'd kind of like smoking but in order to drop it I need to have one of those little patches; mine being outside world xD

Well I was actually really just fed up of tting therefore I decided to make a new town and play it legit the whole way since last time I did it I really enjoyed it. Well until my cat weed all over my 3ds
