Discussion: Anyone play game legit?

Hello there! I made this discussion just to see who actually plays the game legit and doesn't time travel. I know a lot of people on this site does but I was wondering if anyone plays legit. I myself used to time travel when I used to play this game in 2015. Now that I started playing again I decided to play it without time traveling. Ill make a poll just for the sake of it lolz.

I play the game how it was supposed to be played, do you? xD I respect everyones honest opinion so don't be afraid to reply back :>

I used to time travel back in January, but it was soiling the game for me so I don't do it anymore (unless it's a very rare circumstance, ie getting a villager out to adopt a new one available).

Hi i play without Time travelling
I did at the start when i got the game but completely stopped because I was loosing villagers i liked and also was afraid I'd get fed up with the game easily that way. I much prefer now that I don't TT and actually looks forward to opening my 3Ds to play acnl as everyday is different

i only time traveled this week to get julian to move in faster. as much as i want to i wont time travel anymore (or much) since i dont want to lose my favorite villagers

Yeah I gess it would be useful to TT for a villager

I play the game with heavy time traveling. A lot of my enjoyment comes from landscaping and obtaining my dreamies. These are done most efficiently through time traveling (either to cycle out unwanted villagers, get materials for landscaping, unlock parts of the game I still havent unlocked on my 2nd town). I dont really like slow games but with time traveling ACNL feels more fast paced and still allows me to feel creative with landscaping the town

I dont TT, never really did it in any AC games. I remember I tried it once in ACWW because I just wanted to have the 8 villagers but got so bored because of it! The fun IMO in AC is waiting and seeing what happens the next day.. I get excited to start up the town every day and see what happens and get slightly disapointed when Isabelle just wishes me a nice day! I wouldn't TT in ACNL. But I don't judge people who do. In fact, It was sort of refreshing to see a town in a Winter setting or in the morning like I have done in two visits I did the last few weeks. I never played ACNL in winter yet and I don't play in the morning because I am a night owl and wake up around 11 am. ( Which yes, keeps me from buying Turnips ) Just enjoy the game the way you like.

To me the charm of AC is just discovering and realizing every day is special on its own.

I used to time travel all the time, but recently I've stopped time traveling since I'm almost done with my town and I don't want to lose anyone. The most I'll do now is just change the time so all my villagers are awake and the shops are open.

I only TT to move out unwanted villagers but I feel like it's impossible not to in this game. ;n; I mean come on, Rodeo moved right in front of my town hall via streetpass.

The highest I Time Traveled ahead was 2 days, but I always TT back to the original date. I only do this when I'm impatient with PWPs or I want to move out a villager faster. Otherwise, I stick with the same day.

I time traveled in the beginning, because I was desperate to unlock shops and get all my perma-villagers, but that was in the beginning and I've since stopped TTing.

Yeah I never TT in my main town only in my cycle town.

I do time travel, but only to avoid skipping days or losing villagers when I can't play for a while. Whenever I start my game, I TT back to the day after the last day I played. I still only complete one in-game day per day, and I never TT forward except on the rare occasion that I have a lot of free time and have "completed" one day and want to move to another. I don't skip days or TT for the sake of landscaping, cycling, etc., I just do it to keep the game from becoming a stressor when I'm super busy.

I don't play ACNL anymore, but when I did, I TTed all the time. When I first got the game, I had a lot of free time and nothing to do, so TTing was how I kept the game entertaining. I did have a town where I didn't TT at all, which was fun and interesting to do, but I mostly TTed when I played.

I used to time travel a lot, but on this town (my 3rd one!) I haven't except for the purpose of putting villagers in boxes so I can trade them. Even then I go right back to the current date 0:

I used to never time travel, in fact I was scared of the consequences that could come from tting. But after I lost my 3ds that had acnl it wasn't until a year late that I was able to get a new one. Since I started just this past summer I have been tting to try to develop my town and get my dreamies. I actually find it fun!

If I need a bunch of bells for a project or whatever, I will tell Isabelle to set the time to 0605 so I can make two or three trips to the Island during prime beetle availability. I really wouldn't consider that much of a TT, though. I have a few towns that aren't on the current time but those went *back* to avoid the obvious problems. There is one I have been keeping in perpetual Winter by shifting back one month as the snow disappears in February. So, I guess that I'm not a heavy TT user ... hmmmm..forgot where this was going.. Senior Moment I s'pose.

I don't time travel a whole lot. I just time travel between shops open hours since I play it long after the shops close.
