Animal Crossing Discord Server
As the title suggests, this thread is for anyone that would like to join a Discord server for fellow Animal Crossing players.
The goal of our group is to provide group participants with a place to make friends with other Animal Crossing players and join them in fun conversation while also helping make it a bit simpler to find someone to play with on the spot. We welcome any and all Animal Crossing players, there are no other prerequisites.
We know it can be intimidating to join groups where you don't know anyone, but everyone in our server starts off as strangers and we are always happy to meet new friends!
You don't have to always talk about Animal Crossing to participate in the group, we have an off-topic channel, as well as other themed text channels, where you're free to talk about anything (within the rules, of course!)

"What is Discord?"
-Discord is the VoIP service that our group is hosted on. (Similar to TeamSpeak and RaidCall.)
"Where can I download Discord?"
-You can download it on the Discord website; here.
"I don't want to/can't download anything!"
-You don't have to! Discord can be used through your browser! (Google Chrome or Firefox recommended) Although we strongly recommend the desktop app.
There is also a free Discord mobile app! (Android and iOS)
"Is voice chat required?"
-Nope! It's totally optional. You don't have to join the voice chat channels if you don't want to.

-I promise you that it is nowhere near as complex as it first appears to be. Once you get the hang of it, you'll love it. The group members, along with myself, would be happy to help you navigate it.
