Disappearing flowers?

I've noticed lately that, for some odd reason, flowers have been disappearing without a trace in my town. It seems that every time a new flower pops up, one goes missing. I've noticed this because a few weeks ago, one of my Jacob's Ladders went missing, and a few days later, I receive another Jacob's Ladder to replace the missing one, only for another one to go missing! This has happened to other flowers as well, as hybrid and regular flowers alike have gone missing once random flowers pop up after rain. Is there some kind of unknown flower limit, or is this a glitch? I never experienced this in my first secondary town, which was literally FILLED with flowers, I have the beautiful ordinance, and I haven't had anybody in my town for over two months. Any help is appreciated.

If you don't have the beautiful town ordinance, and don't water your flowers daily, they'll wilt. A day after they wilt, they disappear. I suggest changing your town ordinance if you want to prevent this from happening, but if you're not willing to do that, be sure to water ALL your flowers! Tedious, but important!

I forgot to add that I do in fact have the beautiful ordinance. I never do any others because I forget to take care of flowers

Oh? Then that's bizarre. My primary town doesn't even have an open spot it's filled with flowers so I can't imagine there being a limit. Do you share your cartridge with someone, maybe a younger sibling? They could've ran (weeding guardian forbid) in one? I'm so sorry this is happening to you.

That is really odd. I had one hybrid go missing once and I know my gates weren't opened at all that day. I didn't crush it either.

The reason I ask is I think the beautiful town ordinance just makes it less of a chance that flowers will not get watered and wilt, but it is not zero. So if you TT alot, maybe some are randomly dying due to that.....just a guess though.

This is my main town, so I don't share for the sole purpose of avoiding that and any other disaster (One of my friends almost deleted my town!)

Villagers do run through flowers sometimes, i caught Lolly doing it once! That might be the reason.

That actually sounds reasonable, as the places the flowers have been disappearing are the concentrated villager spots. If that's the case, I guess there can be nothing done about it but to just keep on replacing flowers.

Could it be just new flowers over lapping, the beautiful ordinance allow wild flower to grow automatically and more often and it's probably a fixed setting since the beautiful ordinance in intact? I have no idea, it could also just be a glitch in the game, there's so many possible glitches that happen throughout the game; or maybe it's from cub tortimer? xD I read on another forum similar to this one and that some say it may be connected to wifi even though you aren't using it? Good luck, sorry that your flowers/hybrids are missing xc

Maybe you could try lining your flowers with bushes??
