Dirt Pathways

Hi, I dont know if this is the right place to post, but what is your opinion on dirt pathways?
I think when done right they can look really nice, but Im not quite sure the right technique, but Id libe to have them in my town.
Also, if anyone knows any good Dream Towns I could visit to get some inspiration on dirt paths?

*By dirt paths I mean the paths you make by grass deterioration*

I like them, but I think they need to be bordered by flowers or shrubs. If I were to try to make dirt pathways, I'd go ahead and lay a patterned path just so that I could make sure I was actually wearing the grass down where I want the path to be.

Yeah, Im struggling where I want to kead them to, like to villagers houses or should I just have general paths from bridges to the trainstation, I dont want to go overboard and get rid of all my grass, Ive seen it before and wasnt too fond of it :/ x

I have them and I love them. I've just done a basic path leading to all the main places and plot resetted to make sure villager houses line the path. I've used flowers and bushes to border them

Mine at 2 spaces wide across most of my town and there definitely isn't a lack of grass!

You can visit my dream address if you like but the snow has healed the grass.. That's the only down side to dirt paths, they get covered in winter

I'll see if I can find some photos from summer though!

Aww I'm glad to it gave you inspiration it's nice to know you like my town because I have been thinking of resetting so that's made me reconsider

I'm not the biggest fan of dirt paths but I did consider em once.

I'd have them be varying in width and kinda zigzaggy with a bush/tree lining to make it look natural.

I came across someone a few days ago that has a town with dirt paths but she doesn't have a dream town though if you ask her she will give you a wip of it. here's the link in case you want to ask her.

They look nice, and I'd probably have my entire pathway be a dirt path if it wasn't so hard to create one. But since it takes patience and a lot of running, I can only have a small part of my paths be dirt. I especially like it when it's a mini path an there are shrubs and hybrids surrounding it.
