if you don't know erroring = turning off your ds online so everyone gets an error message and you just press home menu to get back on
i'd honestly rather they haven't fixed it due to you being able to stop being scammed or stop people stealing things in your town

I don't think there's any way for them to have fixed that. If you turn off wifi you can't play over wifi. It's as simple as that.

Is it a problem though? And how would they fix it? The only thing they can do is make everyone play on a new 3ds which doesn't have the wifi switch and not everyone has the funds to buy one.

What they HAVE fixed is things like glitching with the net.

They fixed the problem as far as being scammed, since you can now call Leilani to return home, so you can't get trapped on the island. As for stopping people from stealing things in your town, you're technically only supposed to add your friends, so if you add people you don't know who end up stealing your items, it's not really Nintendo's problem.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't read your post quite right. But I can't imagine they changed anything, simply because, as has been said, if you turn off your wifi, you're disconnected, and they probably can't make it so it doesn't affect anyone besides disconnecting.

I can't see how turning off your wi-fi and people leaving your town is a problem, tho. that's how it should work. ???

now, what I'd like is... if someone trying to access the Club Tortimer islands wouldn't make everyone else on the island error when they have crummy wi-fi. I hated when that happened.
