Did TBT influence you to reset?

I didn't, TBT however gave me ideas for my town because why reset all of your hard work & effort that you have put into a pixel town. I have found that working harder is the key to success then to just give up, reset, and start all over.

All grass gets star shaped blotches when it fades. I just tested with some time warping in my brother's town who has traingle grass. It doesn't become star. And this image seems to confirm that it's circle grass which gives you star snow.

Sorry. ;-; *hugs*

Well that makes absolutely no sense T-T

It's just grass though. Although depressing, since I love star snow and dislike the look of circle grass, winter's only a few months. Not a big deal.

TBT didn't, but ACC did. I loved my original town but people convinced me my river was too long and i would not be able to customize my town properly. It's a reason I'm never happy now.

I haven't resetted yet, but I am going to in January. I think TBT has influenced my decision, because I see all these nice town layouts, and I want mine to be better. I mostly just want a change though.

I reset my town before coming here, and it was mainly because my sister reset hers. She wound up with the same native fruit I had, and I liked the convenience of being able to sell foreign perfect fruit without having to find someone online to do so. I hadn't played for a while anyways, so I didn't mind getting a fresh start.

TBT didn't manage to persuade me that my town was mediocre enough to reset.

It did, however, spur my addiction and influence me to get a second copy of the game.

And then a third copy.

The forums were pretty influential, as it turns out.

I reset my town few days ago, but that definitely wasn't because of TBT. My town was seriously hideous and I wanted other fruit than cherry as my native fruit :D

Kind of, when I heard about the villager plot resetting thing. Francine, Octavian and Genji ended up in terrible places but I couldn't risk resetting my whole town after achieving most of the Badges, getting most of the PWPs and my 100 million Bells.

But I was influenced by TBT to buy another copy of the game.

TBT didnt influence me to reset my town but it did influence me which villagers I would like to get,

there are like 333 villagers and I dont have time to scroll which ones i would like... so i check TBT which are the nice ones and choose from that list. voila!

It did quite a bit. I learned SO much from TBT, that I couldn't look at my town the same. I wanted the perfect town, and I think I'll get it now ^.^

It did actually :O I posted on here before I reset and my thoughts on it but sadly I saw the reply late~ I didn't want a messed up town and reset anyway. I'm pretty happy with it now and TBT has helped me so much with the tips I read around here on improving my town. :)

I've never dreamed of resetting my town, even after I joined the forum. My main town has an awesome map, with the town plaza in the middle, just how I like. Now that I have all my dreamies, restarting is just about unthinkable...

No, I only reset a town when I want to do it. I have no clue if my maps are awesome or not. I don't really care either. Life is not prefect and neither is animal crossing. I'd make myself sick if I tried to control everything in AC.

Yeah, looking at all the great towns, I've reset twice.

I probs would've reset either way, but this made it quicker and faster.

It was more like the TBT gave me the push I need to reset my town. Shortly before I joined, I was looking through the Reset Thread. I related to some of the posts there, about how TTing made the game less fun, how they're unhappy with their villagers, it made me realize that I feel the same way. The game became an obligation instead of being fun, and after camp resetting for 80+ times for a villager I want, I thought it's time I start afresh and play the game properly.

I like my town better now. I'm not too pressured to have a perfect town because in the end, it's still MY town and I don't need to impress other people. As long as I'm happy with what I have, then that's enough. I can always visit others' dream town if I want to look at pretty towns!

I think it did, yes. Before this forum I wouldn't have even considered resetting my town! Or even cared about how it looked for that matter. After seeing so many beautifully made towns, I wanted one. So i reset to get the perfect map. I'm really glad I did it because I think that if I didn't then I would have became bored with ACNL a long time ago but this has kept me busy!

Eh, kind of. I haven't because I couldn't bear to lose all of my hard work, but if I had known about the pretty snowfall, I would have reset for a different grass shape and either peaches/apples for my fruit.

I have been tempted, but each time a voice in the back of my head goes "but then you would lose Velma!" and I don't.

Nope, as I have never restarted.
I've had to fight urges not to restart because I knew as soon as I would that I'd end up regretting it. I've gotten so far and collected so many items I didn't wanna lose.
So I ended up getting a second copy of the game instead. ;)
