Did anyone use to do this in the Flower Fest on WW?

I use to steal the villager's flowers then put it by my house ;; it never seemed to work though? I never even won and it was one of the villagers who i stole flowers from xD

omg i'd steal every villagers' flowers and i always won! then they'd compliment me on my garden and i'm like "couldn't have done it without you )

Who didn't do that? I loved that day because it was the day they'd ask
"I wonder if anyone stole my flowers.." then be like "I dunno" or something..
